The F major diatonic plays great in G minor,the relative minor of B flat major. In F major just flat the 7th (TE) to E flat. If you start on G as new tonic in G minor ,use the E flat(flat 7th) in F major. So we have G ,A, B flat, C,D.E flat ,F , G in G minor. Use the flat 7th (E flat ) in B flat Major also .Start on the Fourth in F which is B flat( Fa)and walk up scale so you have B flat,C,D,E flat ,F ,G, A, B flat. Same F flute plays in C major by making the 4th note sharp.
It sounds like you are playing in G minor. How do you play an F diatonic flute in G minor? I thought they only played in one key?
