  • How powerful thank you for posting !! Steve in York uk.

  • I'm 42 and I enjoy this music.

  • I just want to cry

  • I loved the beginning part of this. Idk why. I guess it's the fact that life was tough back then but to get to see Johnny Cash perform must have been the world. You don't see that greatfulness now in these days.

  • Please watch my story"TIFFANY LEBOUEF SEEKS JUSTICE". I have documents to prove my innocence yet no one wants to even acknowledge it. My life has been destroyed.

Look up PRISON STOCKS....very lucrative....WHO ARE THE INVESTORS???

I HOPE NOT THE JUDGES AND POLITICIANS.......

  • Im 13 and I love this music

  • The joy on the mans face as he talks about seeing Johnny Cash at the behining of the video, is one of many reasons why Johnny is a true legend. He connected and brought joy to so many people R.I.P Johnny

  • Thumbs up if you're listening to the Legend Johnny Cash in 2012 and counting.

  • This make me cry u____U so beautiful

  • @NANAZADDii hey bud its 2012.....thumbs up if your still listening everybody!!

  • I'm not a big fan of country, but I sure as hell am a fan of Johnny Cash. This song makes me cry.

  • Johnny Cash is God

  • Oh my goodness what a voice. Such a beautifull artist.

  • Do you guys realize that this is probably the last country music song that will ever be recorded? R.I.P. Johnny.

  • Do you guy realize that this is probably the last country music song that will ever be recorded?!?

  • first time i cried listening to any song

  • im 14 and i prefere this to (c)rap. i am the 1%.

  • Johnny was touched by God. Now Johnny is in the Kingdom with him <3

  • I bought the American V cd as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend in 2008. Although I hadn't listened to it, I borrowed it... 5 days after Chrsitmas, his home caught fire... He didn't make it out... A few days after that, I decided to take a listen... This was the first song to play. I can't put into words the overwhelming thoughts and feelings that overcame me in that moment... Never has a song dropped me to my knees, or brought me to uncontrolable tears like this - and I doubt ever will again.

  • I can't believe you traded it for M & Ms, lol. <3 Johnny

  • @KalashniColaa : I'm 21 and I'm from Romania, and love Johnny Cash!! This man's music has no age!

  • This is music. Not the shit you get today.

  • @31stevenc Agreed........but dont you think thats what people said to the new Cash fans when he came out

  • @MrSKATEitALL Yeah it could of been, but i think music back in that day was different, the musicians were judged on their actual talent, not on the way they looked.

  • @31stevenc good point that does happen alot now adays people just arent what they used to be, used to if you dented a car door you would leave a note and maybe some cash, used to the preacher didnt steal the donations and used to you didnt take government hand outs...people just suck today

  • Fought an ostrich. The Man.

  • Right on youth!

I'm 15, I'm so sick of this mainstream crap that my generation is listening to. I live on a farm, I grew up with Johnny Cash. Even in this small town I live in, far from others, people my age still find a way to listen to this ridiculous mainstream. I just wish we could go back to the old days, you know? I feel like I grew up in a wrong generation. Well, amen to Johnny Cash!! He was a wonderful man.

    -Kait

  • Yeah know, i am honestly 14, born in 97, born and raised in a small city, where everyone listens to Rap and this crap, i was raised to listen to what i wanted too, while my friends are listening to Rap pop, that kind of stuff im listening to johnny cash, and all these other classics. I am laughed at because i dont like that junky raps, i will stand my ground, and well show them up.. So for god sake i thank all those who like this style of music, God Bless America Whole Heartidly - Nick :D

  • One of the most influential artists in the 20th century, forgive me if, i dont listen to modern crap

Johnny Cash is ONE for me

  • @Blockdock1 Yeah I DO, ghost riders is my favorite song

  • My God. Been living in England and Ireland for more than a year, and I suppose to know English.

Then, I listened to the guy that appears at the start and the end of the video and didn't understand a word.

    Shame on me!!!

  • @Urdaris Haha that's because he's wearing dentures. :-)

  • @AvenueDisputeMusic

Commercialism keeps this country afloat, child. Go release your pain in a poorly constructed acoustic song praising obscurity or something of the sort.

  • omg i cant look at one comment on a video and someone not b complaining bout someone elses religion. just stfu and enjoy the song u assholes.

@jackson15williams no give him the girl that sings that "friday" song, an JB caus they r killers of music.

trade two killers for a giver.

  • shartcannon. you're right. no one deserves forgiveness, but all sins are equal to God. your judging one sin greater than another. all sin separates us from God. that is the issue at hand. only Jesus can bring someone into right standing with God. Johnny Cash is a great musician and love listening to life's redemption.

  • johnny cash is a man of power his songs are from the heart and are so great to listen to he is the best

  • @MOMLOVER100

he was not one of the best, he was The Best!

  • The 4 remaining family members of the man he shot in reno watched this vid.

  • Johnny cash is the best. we all love his music. I am going to see Marty Stuart at the watseka theatre watseka illinois on july 2, 2011. i have my tickets. Marty and Johnny wrote the song Hangman together which on martys new cd ghost train. Love live the best music,

  • johnny cash live for ever in his music all good

  • This song reminds me of when I did time. Idk if too many of yall have ever been to a prison baptism but it is one of the greatest things to see... To see the joy on a mans face who has lived a life of crime when he is reborn. The grace of God is unending

  • @TheyCallMeMoney420 like the rapists, murderers and basterds who darken this world should be forgiven for saying "i'm sorry" for a life of hurting others

  • @ShartCannon if it sincerely comes from their heart then yes i believe they should be forgiven. But only God can tell whats really in the heart. You could lie to a billion people and get away with it. But you cant lie to God. Let Him sort it all out in the end.

  • @TheyCallMeMoney420 hey if i rape your daughter, brutally murder your wife and drive a school bus over 50 children and say im sorry to god and really mean it do i deserve to be forgiven? no! as long as im sorry right.

  • @ShartCannon um i never said they shouldnt be punished. You can be forgiven and still be punished. and bitterness is a disease my friend. If you hold onto a grudge because youve been wronged it will eat you up inside.. we all gotta try to move on

  • @TheyCallMeMoney420 not sure what you are talking about a grudge for. punishment? what sending them off to jail to have three meals a day and live while all the people they hurt dont get the redemption they want. do you not go outside to see what people are like? yea if you want to be naive fine, roll up in a little ball and pray to the walls because thats the only thing that will be listening.

  • @ShartCannon ive seen plenty friend. and who said anything about rollin up into a ball? any man can hate but it takes a real man to forgive.

  • @TheyCallMeMoney420 no real men take care of themselves their familys and isnt a piece of human garbage that walks along life depending on others and screwing everyone along the way. forgivness should be used only for people who change not everyone who asks for it. take off the blinders you ware and see people for what they are not who you want them to be!!!!

  • @ShartCannon man you are really stupid. "forgiveness should be used only for people who change not for everyone who asks for it" thats what ive been sayin this whole time. and wtf does forgiving someone have to do w taking care of your family. What are you 15? you have no idea what it is to be a man

  • Comment removed

  • @TheyCallMeMoney420 what you have been saying everyone deserves forgivness. so basically you're retarded and are so high you can't think. dont worry i don't hate you for it

  • @ShartCannon Because YOU KNOW that God isnt real because you have died. Oh wait, you havent. Shut up kid you dont know a damn thing. And quote me when i said everyone deserves forgiveness? Or that i said I believe everyone is good? Or quote me where i said u should be a gutless yellow belly. I didnt say any of that? Guess that makes you retarded. But i dont expect much from someone whos youtube name is shart cannon. Dont reply back because you are too stupid to even argue with

  • @ShartCannon you know how I know that you really are stupid? Its cause you called me stupid for my religious belief. That screams ignorance, immaturity, and close mindedness. Talk to me when you grow up

  • @TheyCallMeMoney420 im pretty sure blindly believing in god and not considering others opinions screams close mindedness and calling someone stupid is immature so im pretty sure you're right on my level. and don't talk to me when you grow up i still won't listen to stupidity. walk through life beliving someone else controls you, ya little puppet.

  • @ShartCannon thats cute. you think you know me, what i believe, and how i came to believe it. I am actually pretty open minded. I understand there are those of my faith who are incredibly ignorant but ignorant people are everywhere...even atheists or w.e u believe. but if you were trying to state an opinion w ur first comment, try not saying it like a sarcastic ass

  • @ShartCannon anyone can b forgiven. u just got to b willing to forgive. but forgiving someone doesnt mean wat they didf was right. thers still a punishment that awaits along every dark path. im still forgiving ppl who treat me like shit, but its only becaus its a short life. why not forgive someone? its not gonna hurt. trust me. and TheyCallMeMoney420 is kinda right.

  • @bookman09 n it takes a lot more to forgive than it does to hate and be angry

  • listen to miles away by kaz piech

  • Qué grandeza la de Johnny Cash

  • The pain, the hope and redemption of this song is so true and real..the combination of happiness and sadness of the man who gave up hermonica comes through the video itself.. very powerful video

  • M&M's....the ultimate temptation.

  • @mrshickadance25 Lol I know, I was thinking wtf? Really? M&M's?

  • Jews come first they gotta get their candy commercial first .

  • Why is there an add for rascal flatts on a johnny cash video?!?! Piss on that pop country bullshit!!

  • that farmers teeth arent that white..

  • @MrRedhand7 hes not a farmer hes an ex inmate of the prison

  • WHAT JOHNNY CASH ISN'T DEAD...PFFFFFT. Right? I'm right...Right? Right? NOOOO

  • Step Two!

  • lmao at that dude ' i traded it for the m and m's' :D

  • I Love This Song And Also Johnny Cash R.I.P Man

    God Bless

  • God bless Johnny Cash.

  • Give us back Johnny Cash and we will send you the jonas brothers

  • @jackson15williams i would rather get rid of lady gaga

  • @jackson15williams the jonas brothers arn't good enough, johnny cash was one of the best and he deserves the best. If only people realized how good he was. people now tend to listen to shit music and forget all about these singers who were ACTUALLY good and know the meaning behind music and what it brings to people. RIP Johnny Cash

  • @jackson15williams no send him justin bieber

  • @jackson15williams Hell! I'd die if God would give back Johnny for one last concert!

    R.I.P Johnny Cash!

  • @jackson15williams jonas brothers, justin biber, lady gaga, nicki minaj, i don't care! Just give him back to us!

  • GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN J,C R.I.P. LOVE YOU MAN

  • THATS REAL LIFE

  • Johnny Cash! All Time Hero!

  • VIVA JOHNNY CASH!

  • Damn, I miss Johnny.

  • An awesome song by Johnny about repentance, finding lost faith, and redemption.

  • I wish I could have half the faith that Johnny Cash had

  • I think I got a little teary-eyed after listening to this. There was such sadness in his voice that's unlike anything I've ever felt while listening to any music.

  • @goreombola I did too!

  • Wooaahh Really wish we could have more artist like mr cash here in mexico, but now days everything's shity, good music went long time ago, now all we have is what TV tells that's Ok, i say fuck that, theres more in this world than the damn market says is good.

  • From my grandparents introducing me to Mr. Cash, and even now, 11 year old kids and even younger are becoming fans of his. Rarely can any artist today have that claim of a mass appeal. Dare I say, none. So R.I.P. Mr Cash. You are a true inspiration, and your spirit will live forever in your music and the people you inspire.

  • This song is freaking beautiful! Mr. Cash opens up an emotional soft spot that I rarely find in myself. For this song, it almost makes me want to go to church. It makes me realize the good things in my life. When you pause for a second and not just listen to this song, but understand it, and feel it, you can sense the true genius of Mr. Cash. It clearly isn't his mainstream appeal. The mainstream changes too often. He is beyond the mainstream. He speaks across generations.

  • @lizamaj Agreed (Y)

  • Beautiful...

  • You know, most bands and musicians fit into a genre (category for those who don't know) like country, metal, rock, punk, hip hop, shit, etc. but the Johnny Cash is just Johnny Cash, the Man in Black.

  • would you believe I was just watching Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and Johnny & June Cash were on it. It was a episode on the topic of Thanksgiving. It was wonderful. Johnny was sitting in a rocking chair singing a song 'I Thank the Lord for making You' to June. It was just wonderful watching both of them

  • The unique people like J.Cash, are disrespected by those that don't take the time to find out what makes these artists special. Not like cookie cutter, copy cat music now. Most of the stuff is stolen from other generations, then claimed as their own.Glad to know Johnny is in heaven...halllellluuuuyaaaaa!

  • This man changed my life back in 80s-early90s. Total turn around of young boys value of life.
