  • Whilst this a great idea, I sometimes feel a little put out that I, as a straight-a student, will never get oppurtunities like this. It seems such teachers are slightly wasted on these students, when they could be teaching genuinely interested and eager-to-learn pupils.

  • The Parent's need to show more discipine, I mean a slap on the head, now and agian when they are disrespectful won't hurt, I mean that's how I was taught andcit never did me any harm

  • There's so many shows on this channel that look really interesting but I don't get channel 4 in my country : (

  • this programme highlighted to me that the educational system in our country is more than adequate, you couldnt get lance armstrong, nelson mandela to inspire these kids let alone standard teachers, even if a few of these kids showed some enthusiasm they wouldn't be passing their maths SATS exams that my 11 yr old brother is taking because unfortanately they are thick as shit, education is wasted on these kids and they are stumping the evolution of the human race and should be eradicated :)

  • Yes it is disgraceful that our education system is failing these children but it is also the responsibility of parents to ensure they are educated to some extent as well and to teach them that they need education to succeed. Many of the people in this series were typical of many in our society - all to willing to blame the state and not their family. People must take a little more individual responsibility for themselves instead of expecting the state to make up for their lack of respect.

  • whats the song? playing in the background??! :-)

  • @evertonj08 that´s what i did after i wasnt happy as a bank clerk, an accounting manager and a saleswoman.

I found my way but there´s still heaps of lost kids out there..

  • i go to a private school so...

  • Where do the parents come from? The system!

  • i got 4A'S, 9 B'S for GCSE'S & i thought i failed... but yeah.. after watching this i kinda think i've done okaaay :)

  • @iTszTeddy I do hope your joking =o those results are amazing!

  • @evertonjf08 No A*'S dude :|

  • Most of the kids in this were just so downright RUDE. Always going on about not getting any 'respect'. The little oiks dont know the meaning of the fucking word. They need to be taught some manners before getting lucky with something like this. And while Im having a rant, speak proper fucking English, innit.

  • Most of the kids in this were just so downright RUDE. Always going on about RESPECT. They dont know the meaning of the fucking word the little oiks.

  • Why is that the teens who don't try and obv dont give a shit about school get these amazing inspirational people to teach them? Its the teens who do work hard and want to actually do something with their lives that deserve to be taught by these amazing people because they would give them the respect and gratitude they deserve! It makes me cringe seeing these kids talk back to these amazingly intelligent people! Dont they know how fricken lucky they are?!

  • @ks736 I know!! They say it's out of order their lower sets and not weith the other kids... do they no why their away from everyone else? Cause they dissrupt everyone like they do in this 'dream' school! EVERYONE wants to learn and have a good life but a minority of 'idiots' for example these are just 'lazy' and instead of putting in hard work and pouttting soe effort in they want the school and the rest of the pupils to suffer so they can get everything done for them!!...

  • Did you see the part with that David Starkey guy? What a nob!

  • i work really hard and stay in school from opening till closing the place cause i just love it! These kids need something like that as well!

Please-everyone who can-open projects like this too!

It would give so many lost children an oppurtunity and a chance in life!

  • @asifimadeitup they have the opportunities in life and they have the chances.... just being in school gives you that chance....Some times it's up to A person to des=cide their future what they wana do etc.... The school will give them the info but it depends on what they do with that info... which these clearly do nothing with... It doesnt matter your background or what has happened in your life... if u wana do something u should allways go out and look to do it..n not w8 4 it to come to them!

  • What a touching and beautyful concept!

    I truely understand those kids.

I used to hate school so bad but i just made my way trough-but i almost didn´t graduate with a high school diploma (german realschulabschluss)

It´s like one sais in the video "the system turned me down"

I didn´t feel like i fitted in all the time as well

    Australian school went way better

and now that i am going to art school i live up

  • simple method worked to discipline me, a beating.

  • ahahahha i was in this :D

  • JUST STOP EVERY SKL IF TEACHERS FIND IT HARD TO TEACH :|

  • im just like them, rejected by the system...troublesome to some other pupils, mind fucked the teachers & got a bad results in academy...but,i have both hands operated with brain mechanicalized by muscle...I step out from negativity zone when I listened to Beethoven - Allegretto...now,Im working in Oil & Gas sector as an Mechanical Engineer..and I owned a Audi A5...thank you,its a life...

  • @raxaxaganaz you were not rejected by the system.u rejected the system! You made life a missery for all those kids who wanted to learn and those teachers who want to teach! And, if you were dissruptive like you said you were and didnt learn your lessons and change your ways then it's right you got took out of lessons so the OTHER students can achieve what they want without the distactions caused by people like you! BUT if you changed your ways and have suceeded in life then well done. U WOKE UP

  • @evertonjf08 thanx everton..I woke up already..

  • @raxaxaganaz :)

  • so where are the pupils coming from?

  • If you can't respect the rules, you can't respect yourself...and why is Jamie Oliver trying to save the world?

  • @tenspoonsofspin because he's a twat

  • "You think you're higher than everyone else because you're a headmaster".

Yes, he does. That's because he is. He's the HEAD MASTER. Now do you get it?

No shut the fuck up and pay attention, you lazy, over privileged, spoiled little brat.

I hated school too, but I paid attention and worked hard.

Stop blaming the schools and the teachers and get the fuck on with it. We're breeding generations of uneducated thugs and yobettes with no skills and no value to society.

  • @geffel Agree with you but ...." We're breeding generations of uneducated thugs and yobettes with no skills and no value to society." is totally false these pupils are just a minority of childish, ignorant, selfless, LAZY YOBS! The majority of pupils want to learn new things and achieve in life... and want to make a good contribution to soiety...

  • @evertonjf08 My brother became a teacher 11 years ago after working in sales and marketing for years. Bright eyed, full of optimism he plunged into the state school system. Now he's resigned finishes teaching in the UK at the end of this school year.

The ones who really want to learn are few and far between. The yobs dominate & the inbetweeners tend to pander to the yobs. Believe me, he can tell you stories of kids' - & their parents - behaviour that would chill you to the bone.

  • @geffel Well you should come to a few of the schools i have been in and it will really warm up your heart and you will see how everyone respects each other. It depends in what area the school is in... but i still stand by my comment how the YOBS are a minority of pupils.... who are not dealt with properly... my grades suffered because they didnt take out 2 VERY dissruptive pupils out of the class... and when they did the teacher and pupils really pulled together to get the right results! ;)

  • @geffel Not everyone is like this... :)

  • fucking scrubbers.

  • parent responsibility? i dont think " the system" was at total fault... where are the parents? you're always born with 2... where were they?

  • @RocsGirl i cant believe you cant answer your own question

parents arent perfect where i come from where are you? utopia

  • @properprim no i can't answer my own question for someone elses children. i feel so bad that these KIDS are like this. i wish them the best. no one is perfect but at least give your kids a future even if you yourself don't have one. I do believe parents don't provide enough love and support to their kids now-a-days and that's too bad for them. i'd rather see my son/daughter succeed in life and feel good about him/herself than to watch them waist away and then blame "the system".

  • @RocsGirl i agree some people blame the system too easily

but some parents love their children but have too many problems themselves and i can hear you say they shouldnt have children

ive met parents with mental or physical illness learning difficulties abandoned with inadequate support no family or freinds able to help and i could go on

  • @properprim and some parents no matter how they try just get it wrong

  • @RocsGirl ur not always born with 2

  • Hopefully after this people will realise what an intelligent woman Cherie Blair is.

  • Why do 'Waster' get to go to that school i bet you that not one of the of them will know who the teachers are

  • Really looking forward to this programe.

  • deceiving thumbnail

  • this is a very odd idea. good concept but surely these inspirational people have little to no experience of teaching, especially teaching the troubled and uninspired?

  • @OllyMillMill good point

  • 1 :D
