    By the way... Great video!

  • OMG this is too fab!!!!

  • looks natural! it a nice length n everything!

  • why is 16 inches the only length provides?

  • The irony. You have a full head of hair but yet you want to wear a wig that looks convincing.

  • NICE REMEDEY, Clever Idea Mama

  • taren help! i cant find the stretch band anywhere, not even ebay

  • When you pulled out the wig with the part already in it and a fake scalp... It scared me :o

  • You're So Gorgeous

  • That nail color is HOTTT! wats the name of color and brand??

  • LUV ur vids! Such a endearing lady & I adore the wig tuuts (o; DI-LEM-MA! Forced me to go natural back in July due to a HORRIBLE triple-color process on my relaxed hair after I entrusted my hair to an inexperienced (on ethnic hair-smh) stylist. Need some advice Taren-loved and wore wigs b4 when my hair was full and healthy. I started to gray at 17 & now in my late 30's I am about 40% in (ain't pretty either) & want to wear a lace front, any ideas for a realistic brand/color/style for me? Thx!

  • OMG girl, i must have that wig! Lol

  • That intro instrumental is my JAM. Lol

    :P

  • can you do a step by step tutorial of adding the band to the wig...I'm a little on the slow side :)

  • omg i need a wig fast!!!!!

  • amazing!!!

  • Brillant because that tape pull out ur hair and the glue is a straight no no

  • And it won't let me subscribe

  • Hey I'm not sure if it's u but everytime I go to ur YouTube I'm always unsubscribed do u know what's going on?

  • Can you go into more detail on how to sew in the band without messing up the hair?

  • Thank tou so much for this info.

  • Very pretty unit.

  • I loveeeeeee it ,, going to try this method :)

  • This is absolutely gorgeous!!! My 6yr wedding anniversary is coming up, and I've been debating on whether or not to straigten my hair, and this is perfect. No worries of heat damage, etc. Thank you so much for sharing girly!!

  • I absolutely love watching your videos! Good job on making the wig look gorgeous on your :-)

  • WOW..look at u. You went from being a novice with wigs to a pro! It looks just like your long flat ironed hair. Awesome job!

  • Very nice tutorial. Elastic band a very useful tip.

    Granny

  • Gorgeous with or without it :3

  • Like this vid. Have to try the elastic since I dont prefer glue or tape.

  • hey! can you please send me the link of the Strech Rite elastic? Because I was looking for it on Ebay, but I found nothing. Thanks! btw, amazing tutorial;)

  • @TheRebelleGarcon I bought it a while ago... Just try googling it instead? They also sell them at Walmart

  • @TheRebelleGarcon I cut a goodie band it works just fine.

  • @TheRebelleGarcon Also if you use a goodie band it stretches so you dont need to measure it, just cut it in half, really less than half.

  • that is a beautiful unit and I can understand why you like it so much but your natural hair is just as beautiful!! keep up the good work!!

  • WOW is all I can say!! You dont have to worry about flat ironing your whole head ever again and getting heat damage. This wig looks like your natural hair when you used to straighten it. It looks REALLY good and natural :)

  • Omg!!! Luv the added band, I will deff try it on my new lace!!!! Thx for the lace advices!!!!

  • Oh my goodness. I am the ANTI-wig girl and this video had me ordering a lace front online the other night to try your technique (at home...with the doors locked). Lol. Clearly you have a gift for marketing plus the fact that I'm kind of a product/beauty supply store junkie! Love your videos!

  • Love this unit. Can you let me know the cap size of this. Just wondering If it is a small so that the elastic fits tight. Thank you. Also, I starting sunscribing to you bc I also have a son with autism and I just love your happy spirit ;-)

  • Beautiful thanks for sharing!!

  • I may not wear wigs but I'm always glad ladies like yourself have tips and guidance to how to wear it properly. It looked lovely!

  • Dayum, fly! Let me find out lol. It's like you became an expert overnight! Thanks for sharing!

  • you are a wig professional! i love it!

  • Taren that looks GREAT! But gosh... I'm SO scared of wigs! LOL

  • dang that wig was $275!? where do we get cheeap wigs lol

  • @TheBakerBee Lol... This is a FULL lace wig... you can totally do the same thing with LACE FRONTS which are generally cheaper with the same quality of hair....

  • @taren916 I did not expect it to be that much ! that is CRAAAZZZY. I'm bout to make my own .. (poor nursing college student speaking lol) it ain't cheap to be pretty.! ;) and Taren I abs LOOOVE you. I adore all your videos, esp the last Beyonce one. you are one of my faces seriously. Thank you for writing back :) Love you!

  • Love it!!! Thanks for the tip with the elastic band

  • Hi I really like this and looking for somethng to protect my natural hair in the winter. I love my wash n gos and will miss them for the winter months. Can you provide the wig # for this wig? I am on the RPG website and there are several straight full lace wigs. Thank you!

  • @Twistitsister The link to the direct page of this wig is in the description box : )

  • Now I want a wig. ! am totally envious of the idea of changing your hair day to day in color, length, style, texture. I hate straightening my curly hair. I do it once in a great while, w/ months between sometimes, but it doesn't last. Growing up in a Native American community I was literally the only person who had curly hair in my family. I didn't know what to do w/ it. I've learned & now I love my curly & a wig would be a great way to change it w/o the hassle & damage of a flat iron.

  • This is the wig of all wigs T! It looks exactly like your own hair! Work it on out love!

  • great video girl!!!!! this wig looks so natural on you! might just get me a lace wig...

  • This is the best one yet. I'm not a wig person but if I wore wigs I would wear something like this.

  • Taren, the wigs you review are always so expensive. Any ideas for any affordable but nice wigs?

  • Very nice! And who would've thought... an elastic band?! Genius!

  • Does the elastic band rub out your hair in the back?

  • @KKWILLIS402 No it doesn't at all

  • love it

  • I LOVE this! I've always wanted to try a lace wig, but i've never been too keen on trying it as I don't like using the glue. But obviously this method solves my problem!! Thankyouuuuu! <3

  • I love all your videos and you've really opened me up to wigs because my hair was exactly like yours...big and curly lol but a hair dresser burnt my hair when she was straightening it. So I am now in the process of cutting off all my hair and starting fresh and I was watching your other video review when you did the "Goddess Wave" and I was wondering which wig you liked better. This wig by the RPG Show or the Goddess Wave? Thanks:)

  • @coccxo Thanks! I actually think the texture of the RPG wig is better than the Goddess wave .. The Indian Remy from the Goddess Wave tangles a lot.. RPG doesn't and the texture is more believable...

  • @taren916 Okay perfect all your reviews are very insightful, so thank you! & one last question (I promise lol), which heat protection product do you think is best for curly hair when straightening ?

  • Comment removed

  • That's cute.. I always wondered how that was done! Learn something new..

  • beautiful.....great idea!

  • Definitely got me considering lace fronts now. Watching this gave me a different perspective on them now. Nice vid

  • Beautiful!!!!

  • Really like this!!! Thanks for sharing!

  • you got your Kim Kardshian hair back...your so cute

  • omg. i can't believe i never thought to sew on elastic before!! i'm doing that TOMORROW!! ugh you just save me a good 20 in the morning! lol

  • what nail polish/color are you wearing??? I'm looking for a deep purple like that...

  • Omgosh I can not stop looking at your nails I must know the color! It's my favorite shade of purple.

  • Very pretty, actually gorgeous! Do you have an update on the curly wig you made? How did the hair hold up?

  • YEEEEEZZZZ!!! WEEEERRRRRRRRRKKKK!!! <3 [@IBangrOochyWaly]

  • May u please do a video step by step sowing in the elastic band in the wig??? Pretty please??? ^_^

  • That nail color is fierce. Loving it.

  • Love it

  • BANGINNNN!

  • i gotta use this. would this work on cancer patients. a home girl of mine has a friend that lost her hair and its growing back but its "boy short". we want her to feel like her old self before the hair loss

  • @tsaiyana That's sweet to think of her. I bet she looks beautiful regardless. Remind her of that above all else.

  • @tsaiyana I think this is the only reason wigs are good to be used. Hope your friend has a great recovery.

  • Thats gorgeous!!!

  • You are soooooooo beautiful! Xoxoxox!

  • Omg soooo pretty!!! I have never worn a wig but this def makes me want toooo tryyyy!!!! Lol Gorgeous as always Ms.Taren!

  • do you have in contacts

  • I'm not sure if i understand how and where do you sew in the elastic ...

  • @SappriKalick You sew them in the ear tabs.... Just sew the ends of each side of the elastic in the ear tabs and that's all! : ) There's plenty of YT videos with a step by step... Just search "Wigs elastic bands" or something like thay

  • Great video! This may be the best "no glue/ no tape" method I've seen. I love the thick elastic band touch it seems like it would be more comfortable. Thanks

  • I'm so glad u did this video I been holding off wearing my fulll lace unit til I learned how to secure it without glue or tape I'm definitely gonna try this thanks!

  • this video is off da chain!! i love taren love the way she switches it up without messing up her natural locs!! this means i can do it too!!!!!! THANKS TAREN GUUURLL!!!!!!

  • I love the modeling in front of the camera at the end. I wish you had tried wigs a few years back and that way your long curls would still be rocking. Good thing your hair grows fast and soon they will come back out. :-)

  • You look like LaLa

  • excellent tips! and great video! love the look too!

  • I would like to know the Nail Polish color too lol

  • Very pretty and natural looking.

  • That was veryyyy innovative and smart! Makes me Unhate lace wigs a LOT LESS lol..u worked that out girl! Im sharing this on FB ..hopefully some of the women with those jacked up laces can take NOTE!

  • Great video as ALWAYS!!!! Thanks, Ms. Taren

  • hey Taren looks great! just be careful your not pulling those edges too hard with the tail comb. I know I know, its always something to watch out for as a natural, you cut the ends still not enough, now ya gotta worry about the edges..hahaha Im in recovery mode.

  • This was sooo incredibly awesome!! Thank you!!!! I have a fine grade of hair so this is gonna be great for me in the fall!!

  • Very nice. Looks realistic.

  • what nailpolish is that? i love it

  • The final look was pretty and natural looking but it seems like pulling at your edges like that is a lot of tension and would make it break .....But it looked nice

  • @4shopiece Thanks! But there's no tension with the band method.. Since there's no combs and I didn't make my band super tight... It's like it's just sitting on my head like a hat.... No tension

  • so cool

  • wow!! it looks very nice on you very natural :)

  • Gorgeous as usual! Did you cut and style this yourself? If so, tutorial PLEASE :)

  • Beautiful!!

  • My goodness you're a beautiful woman. Hair long or short, curly or straight :)

  • HAWT!! JUST GAW-GEOUS!! Girl, this makes me want a wig that much more! Gorgeous!

  • Awesome idea! :-) Thanks for sharing!

  • omg ur nail ploish is so hot!!!! colour please

  • Yes @bangycunt that polish is fierce! Please tell what color and brand ur wearing

  • wait... doubles back... ummm u must tell us that nail color..

  • Taren you are foine! That is all.

  • Genius!!! Love the band trick.

  • Hi Taren, could you please send me the link of the eBay Seller that you bought the Elastic from thank you :-)

  • Hot!!! You go girl! Nail color???

  • Great vid. Never thought to take out some of my natural hair in the front to blend.

  • this looks so real! :)

  • Beautiful

  • Cute :3

  • I love your nail color.

  • @Vche86 ditto!

  • I just don't get the dislikes.... Taren this video was very helpful and informative. Thanks ever so much. I am looking to purchase some wigs and start wearing them... That band method seems better than using combs....

  • Love it!

  • Great vid as usual, hun! Btw, your nail color is AMAZING! What is it called?

  • cool method

  • So glad you did this video. I was trying to understand how beyonce could wear a full lace yet make it look like her natural hair and you just answered that for me so know I know what to do. Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing your next video.

  • Very cute! I love the idea of using the elastic band for a snug fit and pulling out the edges for a natural looking hairline. Great tips Taren...

  • uh.. this just came in perfect time for me! I'm about to receive my first full lace in a few weeks and am concerned about the fit (first time measuring my own head) so this is great thanks girl! btw your intro music always make me happy :)

  • Love it love it. Good job as always Taren =)

  • Thanks so much for this vid! I've heard of using the band but have never seen it. Looks like it would stay on against the wind too!

  • this might sound pretty dumb but were do you get the stretch rite elastic band things ?

  • good job it looks real

  • you starting to get like Michelle phan with the poses lol Great Job

  • So cute!

  • That comb is pretty.

  • It looks natural when you're done, but I'm surprised how 'wiggie' this unit looks for the price =\ Good job though.

  • Taren.. can you please share your nail polish color? It's so gorgeous!!! omg

  • this makes me want to try wigs! And I never wear hair that didn't grow out of my head, makes me feel guilty like im lying to the world (LOL). but this makes me really want to try it

  • Very nice and natural after you pull some of your hair in the front.

  • what color nail polish are you wearing?

  • wow very nice

  • why didnt you take the hair out first vs pulling it out with the comb?

  • Because when you pull it out with the comb, it has a more blended look... If you have it separated already.. It looks separated... Trust me, I tried it that way.. It looks fine to do that with curly wigs but not with straight ones

  • This was super cute! i loved this and i dont even wear wigs. i love how all of yours look so natural. loved it taren :D

  • You and the wig look fabulous, I love your technique. Keep doing what your doin girl! ^_^

  • this application was so creative and the results were gorgeous ,btw love your nail polish.

  • Taren, you are very talented and your videos have been very inspiring and helpful. I am in the process of deciding on what I want to do with my hair, as I am 12 weeks post relaxer (wigs, sew-ins, braids). What are your thoughts on crochet weaving?

  • Thanks Taren

  • Great video! Great tip to try!~ Taren you have such a beautiful complexion BTW

  • omg , what song is the intro? :D your stunning btw :)

  • love it!!

  • This was absolutely PERFECT...everytime i watch a review i can point out the critical things the reviewer missed....you missed nothing! and i'm def. more confident in making my first big purchase on a full lace. great review

  • Lovely! thank you!
