  • heyyyy! nice video. hows Sydney these days :D

  • There has to be something for a better price... anything for poor people?

  • @TheRawPanda Juicers I mean...

  • How can I increase the shelf life of my brazil nut butter that I want to make?

  • Love your T-shirt (I'm Norwegian, so I get it)!

  • Well spotted! Living in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney these days...

  • bond...T2 coffee pot...are you in Australia?

  • Aaah give that 15 kg of honey to me. I love honey.

  • What a fucking sexy man.

  • thats alot of honey

  • misleading title lol jk

  • OMG, this man has the body of a sex god!

  • You really need to soak the nuts for at least 12 hours (6 for cashews) in a sea salt/water brine in order to deactivate the phytic acid. If you skip this step then you will have trouble digesting them and you will not get the nutritional benefit because the phytic acid will block absorption of nutrients.

  • @0rganicMama I agree about phytic acid & soaking raw nuts, legumes & grains for uncooked consumption. Sprouting grains, legumes, & nuts shouldn't be salted to leech the enzyme inhibitors. Filtered water with ascorbic acid and food quality H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) is best for obvious vitamin C & oxygen reasons for sprouting grains & legumes. Did you know that phytic acid is in flour, Wheaties, collard greens, chocolate chip cookies, broccoli, oats? When was the last time you soaked an avacado?

  • I just bought an Omega 8006, which is a single gear masticating juicer. It touts an ability to make nut butter, and when I tried it with both almond and sesame seeds, the result was MEAL. I see that it occurred with your juicer, as well. I used to work at a health store and we had a peanut butter machine and it was unnecessary to add oil to the ground-up peanuts. The oil came out during the grinding process. However, in my single gear machine, the resulting meal seems rather dry.

  • @dearyogini I have not used my Omega 8006 to make nut butter yet but I've made a gallon of soy milk and it does fine. The blender works well too but I have less straining to do with the Omega.

  • i love the "FAEN!" shirt. you get that from lassegg?

  • what kind of oil did you use?

    can you use any oil??

  • I think if you soak the nuts or seeds in water the night before, you can get a more moist nut butter. If you want to use oil you can use whatever oil you like, almond oil, olive oil, sun flower oil, avacodo oil and its more healthier to use natural raw organic sweeteners like honey, stevia, maple syrup when making recipes.

  • just don't use olive... trust me, it sucks.

  • so are cashews, check the ph scale...you should soak em tho to get all the protein

  • instead of honey, why not agave nectar?

  • Honey is both healthier and more ecologically sound as it can be found locally in most places.

But you can use agave if you like it better.

  • @dekitai20 - Agave nectar is highly processed and has a super high Fructose concentration, so it really isn't good for you. Most agave nectar has mercury traces in it as well due to the processing.

  • @0rganicMama Honey is also mainly composed of fructose and has a much higher glycemic index than agave nectar. I think you confuse it with high fructose corn syrup. Mercury was found in HFCS, not agave nectar.

  • @0rganicMama "...while it is true that agave is quite high in fructose, it is the most common form of sugar in all fruits. Dates, molasses, raisins, apples, honey, and even many vegetables and other plants are high in fructose. Fructose is a natural form of carbohydrate, and for thousands of years, it has been an important source of energy for the body. In fact, fructose in live raw fruits is good for us! --Dr. Edward Group

  • @0rganicMama The American Heart Association found that consuming limited amounts of fructose, in a pure form, had no negative effects on the majority of individuals...may even reduce the risk of prostate cancer.... agave may help fight bone diseases (ie osteoporosis) as well as diabetes and colon cancer. This research also suggested that fructans may promote the creation of beneficial gut bacteria, allowing for better absorption of calcium and magnesium (two important minerals for bone health).

  • @0rganicMama There's no comparison between a natural form of fructose, such as in fruit or from agave, and the chemically-processed, pesticide-laden, genetically-modified High-Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS). The fructose in agave is a slow release form of sugar...in comparison to HFCS, which spikes blood sugar levels, agave does not cause the stimulation insulin secretion that leads to harmful rises in blood sugar.

Raw Agave is healthier than HFCS, make no mistake! However, limited intake is wise.

  • Hi Bondi

I think you have the finest juicer.

It looks like Green Power Kempo Twin Gear Juicer, which is updated model and better quality than old model of Green Star. And Green Power Kempo has all the patent, as far as I know.

And you need to remove the cap of pulp discharge casing know when you operate the juicer for nut butter.

  • You should have macadamia nuts. Healthest and make the nicest butter

  • hi bondi,

where did you get the raw nuts from??

    thanks for posting this *=*

  • any decent health food store should be able to get you the nuts. Two rules to follow with nuts and seeds are ALWAYS RAW and ALWAYS ORGANIC. Good luck! :-)

  • I want to buy a cold press juicer like this. Would you please tell me the name brand of this juicer?

  • yeah i wanna know too!

  • the one I have I wouldn't recommend as it is known to have a few issues with design (something I found out after buying it). The one you should look for is the Green Power Juicer also known as the Green Star Gold. Expect to pay around USD$500 for one.

  • @bondi5000 - yeah, i bought the one you have and it broke early on - not recommended.
