I was at opening night in Charlotte & it was magic... being the first "official" time they played together in 23 years. I was on the floor in Charlotte & the sound mix was soso... It wasn't until the last few songs that it really was dialed in nicely with Eddie sounding nice & raw... Before it was more pounding drums. i went to the Tampa show & was in the first raised section on Eddie's side as close to the stage as it got & the sound sucked. Unless they were hiding something fire the sound guy.
evh guitarz, saw this tour ,in pittsburgh, i agree with all you posted., it just pisses me off to wait for all these years for dave to come back, but no mike. horrible sound,it seemed to never get better all of the tour.lets hope for more, but hire a friggin sound man please!!
the sound quality at this arena sucks for every band coming there....I was there. it only sounded good if you were on the floor directly in front of the band...second level and third you lose all the highs and it sounds like this...this was Wolfies second night in florida and that`s why Dave says," what did I tell you about Tampa?" they love Wolfie
I fucking hate how everyone calls him Wolfie his name is FatFuck. How much do you think he is now 220 maybe 245 and growing. He dose not move around like mike and sing like him he should not be there.
The Charlotte concert was definitely better... DLR was doing more shouting here; Might be nursing fried vocal chords. And Eddie was more spot on with the leads in Charlotte. I do like the lead he did for this song though... One of the better in a song from the show.

The sound quality much better in person; I knew that the sound just didn't match what I heard in person by a longshot.But the drums though were overly dominating the first 1/2 but later on Eddie's tone was raw...the bass still wasn't as present as it should have been & hasn't changed throughout the concert as evidenced in Tampa.The mixing fell short. Tweaking that would greatly improve the quality of the concert...& I jokingly say snap a muzzle on DLR!

When i saw them on the Sammy Reunion tour in 2004 the sound sucked as well. It was all a blur.

This tour grossed $93 million for good reason. This guy (Ed) is a living guitar legend like no other and he's not dead by any means. Amazing band.
