@Suchiazski actually it's wise to use the power nodes on storage rooms in Dead Space 2. In most you find a new node. Which means you get ammo and medkits and whatnot without wasting a node or credits in the shop.

@huangfeihong85 Good question, but did you also ever wonder how we could get rocket fuel to burn in space and project a rocket? I'd imagine it's kind of the same concept. Basically, oxygen is carried on the ship and is combined with the fuel as it burns, allowing the rocket to project. So you could say that for a flamethrower to work in an oxygen-less environment, some extra oxygen is carried on to be mixed with the fuel. This is my best guess, so dont attack my lack of knowledge on this :)

If you pause at 00:43, the menu lists the flamethrower fuel as hydrazine.  Hydrazine is sometimes used for spacecraft maneuvering thrusters so there's likely a way for the combustion to happen in a vacuum.
