it was created to be used mostly in space. come to thing of it Japan anime defies a lot of things so yeah.

and the wing thing isn't exactly a wing but some kinda psychic guided artillery called fin funnel

its a weapon that is controlled by using your brainwaves or sumthin like that, not sure.. only newtypes can use em i think. look it up :)

its not a boster or any thing the wings are almost never used to fly and its more a wepon than a wing

It's not a wing. It's a fin funnel which can detach themselves and deploy. I'm not positive on what they're used for though.

After watching this video again I've noticed you did some panel-lines on the polycaps at the ellbow. How did you scribe them? I tried it once but failed doing it with a needle. Damn flexible stuff.

Thanks for guiding us through the construction and painting of this GunPla! There aren't enough videos like yours on the site.

I don't have this kit myself, although I am becoming a fan of the RX-93, but I do have a Musha version of him, as well as the kit of the GunEagle, the SD Gundam Force character based on the MSV, Nu Gundam Double Fin Funnel Type.

Also, I've begun to train with Amuro and RX-93 on Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2. This machine is devastating; the fin funnel barrier rocks.

Dude, you seem to have put a lotta effort into painting this one, and it paid off... black parts look very matt (just how I like it XD), or maybe it's just the camera.

Old one looks hideous next to the new one -.-

Cool "Lets Build" videos. Great paint job on the model. I don't see how you can do such tiny details, like the fin funnels, without making a mistake. When I do details like that, I use acrylic so that I can scrape away any unwanted paint easily. I don't think you can do that with enamels, especially when there's already a base coat. Anyway, that HGUC heavy armor Nu Gundam sounds cool. Where did you hear about that? I wonder if they'll do something similar for Sazabi? (Nightingale, perhaps?!?) :D

you did a pretty good job of this SD...do you think youd be grabbing a hold of more sometime? the exia and 00 are great and if you get curious the sangokuden kits are just as awesome...theyre nice cuz they need alot of painting and im sure youd do a kick-ass job if you ever got a hold of one

Nice clean build! I don't have this particular kit but the SD MK. 2 and the SD NT-1. They are very similar and have the same problems. The hollow weapons are really a pain to handle.

It's nice to see one of these old kits beside too. And after seeing it - I'm glad I avoided SD kits before the G-Generation F-line ;-)
