Ugh. Not to be rude, but the Evangelion theme song pales in comparasion to songs like Electrical Communication. The song itself lacks energy and suspense, plus it only became famous because of it's association of being a part of a famous Japanese animation and manga series.

It's not like it needs to be heavy metal or pop soundy, but it's so.... lacking.

Hmms.. I dunno. I liked Cruel angel's thesis cuz it is quite a different song for it's time. The same can be said for Yui, She only made it big outside of Japan cuz they used Life for an ending theme and then rolling Star as an opening theme in Bleach. Again Even i find the old Macross as one of my favourites. So i gues it's just tastes.

I listened to Electric communication and didn't really feel a spark for it.
