my friend, this has nothing to do with HD. it's entirely the Jag product.

a depth of field adapter is used, typically, to enhance a shallow depth of field. this means that only part of the image is in focus, while the rest is INTENTIONALLY out of focus. the video quality isn't blurred, that's the look depth of field brings.

however, the jag product does not allow manual apperture..therefore parts of the image will be out of focus which SHOULD be in focus. the blur has NOTHING to do with HD

Notice the date it was posted, now that was back in the day when youtube used to fuck your videos up really bad and their maximum file size was 100mb, so before you say anything think about the progress that youtube has made since 2008. because videos only started to look good on here in 2009.

I think I'd like to buy one to hook up to my dvx-100b,but I'm hesitant at the quality and loss of light 1-2 stops and what that means for grain of shots. Nonetheless, looks great.

Nice,but I have a couple questions. In the first few shots it seems you can see the ground glass grain,or is it just me? Then about half way through,a black shape appears on the bottom center of the frame? I'm interested in buying your adapter, really I'm interested in helping you make or sell them. But is it as good as can possibly be, or can more mods make it better? Have you tested the difference between rotating vs. vibrating gg look? It'd be nice to try it, I'm close if you'd like to meet
