Remember the ESCA’s DNA test report saying the Younger Lady is male? Now he 'was', as Dr. Hawass has later on confirmed it’s a female. Dr. Hawass sure gets giddy all the time. Recently they are claiming that this YL is Princess Nebetah, most probably Akhenaten’s mysterious younger sister.
The middle-aged Akhenaten and the old Amenhotep III is clearly out of the picture leaving Tut in the b/g; however since Tut died in his late teens/early 20s it would have been impossible for him to have fathered a man (mummy) who was shown to have died in his late teens/early 20s. Smenkhkare, most egyptologists concluded, best fits the mummy's descrip.
No no,, really we don't have any proof. Sitamun was one of the Great Royal Wives of Amenhotep III but she wasn't Akhenaton's wife. But this vids are based on the novel by Pauline Gedge called the pharaoh. In this novel Akhenaton wants to ger marry with Sitamun but Nefertiti kills her. Anyway it's not true,, it's just a part of the novel. The only known wives of Akhenaton were Nefertiti,, Kiya and maybe Meketaton,, Meritaton and Ankhesenpaaton
@Aeris186 actually have you heard the recent updates now its a fact that akhenaton did take a sister as a wife....though we dont know which its theorized between sitamun or his younger sister beketaten/nebetah plus a unknown but recorded sister. gahh so much mystery @_@
