Procter & Gamble [Crest, etc.]. and Miles Laboratories [Alka-Seltzer, One-A-Day] were the alternate sponsors of the show in its earlier seasons. Their products were also featured in the lower left hand corner of the closing credits as well (they were eliminated in syndicated prints, of course).

@fromthesidelines what were the sponsors of the rifleman series. i seen this the first time. what were the later sponsors of the rifleman. besides procter and gamble and miles labroratories in the first season it said filmed in hollywood by four star films inc when did they have the four star banner with and then without the announcer.

Where do you guys get this stuff? I would love to collect anything & everything connected to this wonderful show. I was 6 yrs. old when it ran for the last time and I remember feeling abandoned but then came reruns and then cable and then the western station and now DVD. Hooray. But as I said, where do you guys get this shit? I want McCain shit.

My Late Dad Would Have Been An Actor He Would Have Played The Rifleman. He Would Play Lucas McCann My Late Dad Would Have Had Chuck Connors Role. Nobody Can Play The Rifleman Like Chuck Connors Can My Late Dad Jon Hutchinson Should Of Played The Rifleman Had Chuck Connors Job He Didn't He Died In 2006 My Uncle Doug Died In 2007. Chuck Connors Did Play The Rifleman As Lucas McCain On TV.

I used to love watching The Rifleman back when i was a young kid. These kinds of TV programs where wholesome and taught good moral, ethics, and values. Nowadays, its all about whether your hot or not , and how much fun it is to exploit another for personal gain. America got duped, didnt it ?
