season. Ulyana Lopatkina and Danila Korsuntsev were the principals in that production. It has been good seeing them behind the scenes in this documentary.
It should be noted that the version of Swan Lake shown on the BBC in early 2007 is now available on DVD on NTSC format--it's probably by far the best version of the ballet on video in terms of technical excellence. (However, the best -danced- version is still the 1989 performance from the Kirov/Mariinsky Ballet you can get on DVD.)
I agree with Sacto 1654 that the 1989 Swan DVD is excellent, although it does have one major point against it: no audience.

She said that the dancers does not have enough time to have lunch, and they just have to eat snacks and chocolates during breaks between rehearsals.

I enjoyed this and the other two videos in
the series. The BBC aired Swan Lake in
January of 2007 as part of the Tchaikovsy
season. Ulyana Lopatkina and Danila Korsuntsev were the principals in that production. It has been good seeing them behind the scenes in this documentary.
