  • yha your right!!! i observed that too awhile ago!!! i dont like the words from his tongue very insensitive!!! i can also say that we also cooked those foods in Rizal maybe in diff version but the taste are thesame!!! and not very dramatic!!! so try to be neutral boy!!

  • best food alwayz are in the philippines.!lekker eten met anthony bourdain.

  • I am missing philippines,i had been traveling almost all island we have had there, watching this film wanting me to travel again as like i do before.

  • give us something from another province,i can tell you we can do it better!...(mas masarap na luto?) ....we? meaning all the pampangueno?..whoooaaaa!...na over confidence, over react,na over whelmed ng camera and presence in anthony,..and in thre end lumabas yung pagka kapang pangan wich is mayabang as all we pinoy knows...its like all things that come from panpangga is the best pati na yung pagiging pinoy

  • pay attention guys, what the guy meant to say was that you are *insert region here* first, then filipino second. whether kapampangan, cebuano, ilonggo...

  • April 5 2009 Global Boycott McDonald's Day

  • wow! sooo wasent expecting that! That really caught my by surprise there. Its a great video really catches your attention.

  • Anyway, in his own way I know he tries his best to keep the Filipino dishes, particularly the Kapampangan dishes alive. He deserves credit for that. I'm just pushing for more sensitivity in their statements and also validity with their facts.

  • sarap ng sinagang na bangus sa bayabas...niluluto din samin sa cavite yan but i you cant tell where it really originated

  • i didnt like the part when he said something ike ure not filipino if ure not from pampanga or sumthing like that... i think whichever part of the philippines ure from ure still filipino...

  • this segment was focused totally on a pampanggan cuisine.

this is not a general filipino food!

well. its a pampangga themed meal..

but darn it, they should have gone to ilocos also...

  • why do you think they didnt do dinuguan, you know the chocolate meat and tokwa baboy?

  • papanga the gelatenous rubbery thing lol Philippine cuisne needs to word or describe their dishes better than the gelatenous rubery thing lol

  • We could learn from the Pampangenos in a way on how aggressive and proud they are in promoting their dishes. If we can do this kind of aggressiveness to Filipino food in general, then I think we will be able to put our cuisine in the World Food Map.

  • But Pampanga had indeed contributed a lot of good dishes to the Filipino cuisine. Kare-kare is served in whatever region I think. Also, I think the sour component to our dishes is because we have a lot of sour fruits to make use of for cooking. Thailand also used a lot of tamarind, which I think was failed to be mentioned as one of our sour components in sinigang. Claude's wife was very intuitive and I admire how she tried to be more general and not regionalistic.

  • claude was a bit arrogant... i hope he put his regionalism aside and just celebrate Filipino in general... although i can't deny it's true.. we're too regionalistic to a fault sometimes..I wish he could've been polite in saying that each region has their own specialty and their own take in making the dishes.i know sinigang sa bayabas is being done in the Tagalog region, the seaweed salad and fern salad was served in my native hometown in Laguna.

  • Claude hasn't been out of Pampanga before. Taste is subjective. Every region has its own version. Let's just leave it at that.

  • Finally; the world has seen the best thing about Pinas instead of Imelda's shoes and you Kabalens and Kababayans are about to have a civil war about what we eat and how we cook our cuisines. NAKAKAHIYA KAYO!! I'm from Pampanga also, but I'm not your typical Pampangeno(NO bulatsi,NO yabang...etc),but I've always want to taste the Bicolano food.

  • what do you expect from a pampanggueno, even if they knew how to speak tagalog pag nakakita sila ng kabayan nila mag sasalita sila ng kapang pangan sa harap mo knowing marunong silang mag tagalog...and u cannot be a filipino if ur not a kapang pangan huh?....medyo sumobra naman yata ang sinabi nya ha!

  • oo.. medyo may mga extra siyang sinabi na sana tinikom ang bibig niya. he should've realized it's still a show about the Philippines.... and focused more on the general Filipino pride...

As I said...
