  • I appreciated it... don't worry some people are too ignorant to even imagine the concept of kindness and trying to share information. This is what the world is coming to.. its all people trying to figure out what type of gain there is...

  • This was cute. I have this support system and want to switch to paper. Do you think it will hold a slim wide roll?

  • you did a great job presenting this..... made it look really easy..... I am thinking of getting a background stand.... I have been doing all of the draping like you said..... this looks easy..... thank you

  • Thanks. I was looking on youtube to see what muslin backdrop looked like. Do the creases give you trouble in your shots?

    Helpful vid

  • Thanks for the demo on the stand. I am looking for a good one. I am looking all over for this stand. Why is it so hard to find?

  • cool video... keep working hard and do your thing.... don't mid fools.. plus you're cute and they're hating

  • what is the size of your backdrop

  • Thanks for posting this and dont mind the ignorant people

  • Then buy it cheaper - it doesn't matter to me. I don't get paid for your purchases - I don't get paid for the views on this video - heck they haven't even gone so far as to say thanks for creating and posting the video.

I appreciate everyone's nasty comments though. My question to all of you: Would it matter if this was a for profit video anyway?

  • @technoteez you are so stupid that you will be the assamed for being such idiot. I bought it on ebay as similar price, you can get this one for double price in each other shops... shut up when yu dont know what you are talking about. STUPID.

  • @technoteez stupid envy and thats all because your shit shop

  • I appreciated the video. It was very informative. Dude... RELAX

Terianns... You and your smiles can make videos anytime.

    Great Job !!

  • why would you post this on youtube its jst advertising i wonder how much u got paid for this video

  • Nice try - didn't get paid for this, heck Amvona don't even have an affiliate program. I know it's a foreign concept to some people that some of us just like to share information

  • Nice presentation. I found a Cameron background stand at the Salvation Army ($225 new) but missing a pair of butterfly nuts. LIked the video. Would have been cool to do the extro in front of the new backdrop.

  • good job hun

  • I just purchased a backdrop support system from adorama...it seems to be of pretty good quality...and supports up to 40lbs...problem is the support bar is not telescopic but in 4 sections, you can use 2, 3 or 4 at a time...The foot prints of your stands don't look that wide, does it move when you hit them? Also I have a muslin 10x20 as well. How are you going to go about ironing it? I tried today and it was not a fun experience...

  • The telescoping bar and the 4 sections are two different models. I was going to get the segmented one but it was on backorder for a month so I went with the telescoping.

I can make my stand's legs spread a bit wider if needed, space was a big restriction for this demo so I didn't. I haven't had a problem with bumping into them and on a larger setup (with more space) they hold up well to general movement around them.

  • As far as ironing the muslin, i hung my background for a few days so some of the wrinkles could work themselves out, then with a spray bottle of water in one hand and a warm (not hot) iron in another I began to "faux stream" my background while it was hanging, I used my foot to create tension and that worked really well, it took a bit of time and you need to be careful to not over saturate it with water. Do it section by section and very carefully.

  • You don't iron large muslins, you either crumple them up so they have lots of small wrinkles.

If you want no wrinkles, then you hang and steam the fabric. You can get cheap steamers for under $50.

  • amovona makes excelent quality equipment. there web sight is very low priced. but you can also bid on the equipment on ebay even getting a better deal. i own two 1,000 watt soft box lights with cases. two of there tripods. background stand kit and four of there backgrounds. they make very high qualty equipment for the price. and bidding on it, on ebay makes it even sweeter of deal. very nice video by the way.

  • Thanks for the tip. I don't shop on ebay very often, I'll have to start checking that out more often, I could sure use a soft box or two!

  • when doing a ebay search use the words dynaphos also dynatran. your best bet is to check past auctions to find how much a item has sold for. also use a bid snipeing service that will be for you in the last 11 seconds of the auction. a good service is bidsnipe. also be shure to always check the buy it now feature. sometimes its cheaper than bidding. a good ebay secret.

  • Good job!

  • good job
