I am sick of comments about "the unions" The UAW came about because our grandfathers had the balls to stand up for a share of the profits.

Now a lot of blue collar people bought into the anti-union, anti-government formula that divides us and lets the rich to make the rules .

Jobs get exported, profits get hidden offshore, wages get slashed, pensions get eliminated and 80 year olds have to return to jobs to pay for their pills.

When he sang this on the Country Music Awards - it gave me goosebumps - sometimes a songwriter comes along that gets the message across so well - and John Rich is an amazing songwriter - gets to people's emotions and makes it real.
