You are silencing MANY PACIFIC ISLANDER VOICES by this supposed construct of an "API" coalition with regards to the issue of gay marriage. MANY Pacific Islanders love the gay individuals in their family and community however do not condone gay marriage. Traditional marriage is valued very dearly to many if not the majority of Pacific Islander families.

How on earth can you argue that marriage equality will cause breakdown of the family? What about, divorce? What about domestic violence? What about adultery? Perhaps if you're so concerned about the breakdown of family you should try to outlaw divorce instead (good luck with that), or simply "bad" parenting for that matter. Prop 8 STRENGTHENS families and helps to build up and reaffirm new ones. NO ON PROP 8. EQUALITY FOR ALL PEOPLE.
