@klutzycarlover the AK-47 was definitely around at that time as the video is set in 1970 the 47 meant 1947 as that was the year it was patented by Mr. Kalashnikov. Jensen the K . And the A meant something in Russian but it's translated to assault. AND THIS WAS A GREAT VIDEO I MUST SAY

Also you probally should of added a little bit of dialouge. It takes a lot of time to make the dialgoue sound good, but it should help your plot a bit. @AudioWaveformTV Whats up! Acting was done pretty much on the fly with a rough script, and we had dialogue but found it didn't fit in with what was going on, thanks for the feedback.
@cbpunchy If you watch some videos from Jordan Schulz channel "MrSchulzy23" you can see there is plenty of blood effects, I think that's something that may have been overlooked in this video. Thanks for the feedback.

a plausable plot to the film. germany was extremely power at the time and could have certainly taken over the world. i in no way say they were the bad guys because i do not believe in a good one. yes germans were used. yes i am german with a heavy nazi background. no i am not nazi. yes i am proud to be german and to have used my ancestors country as the supreme power in my film.

i know it is not ment to be aggressive towards you i still like your vids but for some reason it is always the same with us germans :D you say you are a german and 6 out of 10 people call you a "nazi"...
i bet most of them don't even understand what was going on back in 1930 when the NSDAP started growing... but that is a different story :)
@Dan95Films This is a "what-if" scenario, set in a fictional 1970's United States of America. Russia and Germany are somewhat common because a lot could have happened, so it makes for a good fictional story. This isn't directed towards anyone German I think you're being too defensive. Besides, Finland invading the US doesn't have the same "impact".
Not bad, not bad at all! A little bit cheesy, and a couple mistakes here and there. Like the ak-47, I don't think that was around. And the ported slide hi-capa is unrealistic, and used twice. But overall, pretty good for your first short film. Nice cinematography, what camera are you using? Presumably a DSLR I would imagine.
@klutzycarlover Thanks for the feedback! We work with what we have, haha were just young adults we have practically no budget! And Jordan bought these guns himself. Jordan also filmed this one, he was using a Sony Nex-5, sort of a hybrid between a full-on DSLR and a point-and-shoot. From now on most footage will be on a Canon Rebel T3i.
I actually kind of like the whole "No dialogue" thing. It makes a cool effect.
