  • You should definately do more tutorials you are really good at them!

You should do more by nevershoutnever, would be GREATLY apreciated!!

  • your fingers are narley O_O

  • Any tips on getting that slap sound right at 1:25?

  • I'm just learning to play the uke. The tuning is high G?

  • @7breakingbenjamin7 Yes! High G (GCEA) tuning :)

  • Is this a soprano ukulele? or could you tell me what kind to get?

  • @xXStopthissongXx1 This is a tenor uke! It all depends on what you like, but I'd go for a concert or tenor. Those are the ones that Christofer uses, too.

  • @TwanBraccoG Thank you sooooo much! I've been trying to master this song for a while but I like don't have mi own ukulele so I don't get much practice time :/

  • do you know when in the song he changes the chords like during the verses I don't have an ear for that type of thing :/

  • @alysonfan94 I'm not sure I understand your question correctly.. The intro and verse just consist of alternating between this 0232 chord and this 0353 chord. The rest of the song is just repetition of what I show in the video (please see the description box too :) Don't give up, it takes practice. Turn up the music and when it sounds right, it's right :) If you have more specific questions, ask away!

  • hey if annybody keeps asking, there are four diffrent types of ukuleles. soprano, tenor, and concert have the strings GCEA while baritone haves the strings that of a guitar just the first four strings EADG or something like that. anyways thanks for the tutorial man!!!!!!

  • @UnleashTuna A baritone uke is tuned the same as the highest four strings of a guitar.. which makes it DGBE. For the rest, you are totally right :)

For everyone's information: a soprano tuned to GCEA sounds EXACTLY the same as a tenor or concert uke tuned to GCEA. The sound of a tenor is 'bigger' than that of a soprano, but the pitch is the same when tuned the same :)

  • what are the name of the chords you are using ?

  • @DaiseyJoy The first one is a G.. I'll get back to you for the rest ;) Gotta figure that out.

  • I know i might sound stupid when i say this but, this is my first time playing the ukulele & i need help with the chords. I can't find the chord numbers. :(

  • @ShadowAgate The chord numbers are in the description box underneath the video. These 'chords numbers' refer to the strings and the note that you have to fret! For example: (0)(2)(3)(2) is a chord where you press down your 2nd string (from the top) on the 2nd fret, the 3rd string on the 3rd fret and the 4th string on the 2nd fret. If you then strum all four strings, you have a G chord! (Watch 0:12 closely!) Does that make it more clear? :)

  • thanks so much for this video!

    I LOVE YOU. :D kbai.

  • @akaisme no problem, glad i could help :):)

  • what type of ukulele is that? is it a tenor? is it possible to play it on a soprano ukulele?

  • @erica1415 It's a Kala Acacia Tenor ukulele. And yes, you can play it on a soprano ukulele too :)

  • nevermind it was tuned wrong... thankyou much!

  • @shelbyyar Okay! Good to hear :) Happy playing!

  • Thank you so much for this! I've been trying to figure it out, b/c all the tabs I've found sounded wrong.

  • @just1again No problem :) That's why I made this!

  • are the chords the same for a soprano ukulele? because the chorus isn't really working out for me :/

  • @shelbyyar Are you tuned to GCEA? It should sound the same!

  • HEY... This is fab! I have most of the chords down pat, but one was sounding dodge, and now I know why! Thanks heaps mate!

  • @HallMade No problem :) Glad I could help!

  • thank you! i was wondering why it didnt sound as nice as his version :3

  • @kirbyeatsapples :) I hope it does now!

  • Amazing! What uke is this? Like tenor, concert? I'm going to buy one and I want it to have that same tone as his.

  • @awwtumbler11 Thanks! This is a Kala ASAC-T tenor uke. Love it :)

  • It would be nice though if you played all the parts altogether at the end of the lesson and label the parts as you play them.

  • @JPili1 Thanks :) Wanted to keep it as simple/clear as possible. Good suggestion, I will keep that in mind for my next tutorial!

  • Great lesson!!! Short and to the point! You didn't waste time explaining and just added the details in the description! Keep it up!

  • I just got my ukulele and I thank you so much for making this video!!:D your awesome.

Have you done some where over the rain bow?

  • @Llamapajama13 You are awesome :) I have not yet, but if there aren't any good (100% correct) ones out there, I would be happy to make one!

  • soo helpful! i've had my uke for a while but i haven't found any helpful tutorials, this is perfect!

-although i do wish i knew the names of the chords i'm playing.. (:

  • i dont get the numbers ? how are they chords ?

  • @vrnc13579 These refer to the strings and the note that you have to fret! For example: (0)(2)(3)(2) means a chord where you press down your 2nd string (from the top) on the 2nd fret, the 3rd string on the 3rd fret and the 4th string on the 2nd fret. • I've actually been looking for a good tutorial of this song of ages! This is perfect , thank you. You made it really easy to learn as well, you should do more ukulele tutorials. Especially for nevershoutnever because i cant find good ones anywhere :)

  • @LauraLollyLou1 Thank you so much :) I can do more, sure! Any requests?

  • @TwanBraccoG Erm.. i dont mind really, any of them is good. Maybe, 'happy'? or 'first dance'? Both nevershoutnever :) Thank you soo much :L

  • can you write the name of the chords lol im a beginer =)

  • @mariovg19 Hey there, have you checked out the description box? I wrote down all the chords (such as a G chord: 0232). Actually writing down the exact names of the chords would make it unnecessary difficult ;-) Let me know if you get it!

  • @TwanBraccoG yeah i saw the description, but they are just the fingers position, not the chords name, lol i play the entire song but i dont get wich chords they are... if you write it for me it would be awesome, btw thanks for your help

  • Thank you so much! All of the other lessons are really inaccurate

  • @fuzzykinzthecat Thanks, glad I could help!

  • En super-cool T-shirt, natuurlijk. ;-)

    David

  • Geweldig, duidelijker kan gewoon niet!

    David

  • @FromANewPersective Thanks for your response, much appreciated! :)
