  • that seems simple enough... but id prolly fuck it up

  • How do I make the response faster ?i want my gun to fire at least as half as fast as I can pull on semi

  • so all ur doing is decreasing the resistance. youll get a little better response time and ROF increase wont be very noticeable. If you have a fuse on your gun cut it off also when you are putting the deans connector on. Its a waste of space and causes resistance as well.

  • do you do this for your lipo batteries as well?

  • how do you know which side is positive or negative on the deans connectors?

  • @hhfireandexplosions look the video or .........

  • are you doing all this on you carpet? That's confidence.

  • ALERT: Never Ever Ever ever EVER remove Both ends of the plug like shown in 0:38 remove them one at a time to keep from any possible static or sparks.

  • @Xmoto16 uh if youll notice there is no power going from the gun to the battery connector, and the battery is not plugged in as it shouldnt be for this type of work anyways, so its perfectly fine to cut them at the same time,

  • @Xmoto16 its not that much of a big deal. its like getting sparks fro a 9V battery, not 120v AC.

  • @Xmoto16 thats only for the battery. the wires to the gun have no charge so you cant short circut anything. now the procedure you mentioned is important to remember when cutting the battery wires

  • @Xmoto16 you and the 9 thumbs ups are all dumb. the gun doesnt produce electricity!

  • what gun is that

  • go to tower hobbies and get a traxxas style plug they are even better than deans but it is a bit biger so if you are tight on space you may just want to stick with deans

  • it solder or sodder :)

  • is the black wire always negative? what if there are no colors wires?

  • @HithardAirsoft then you have bought a weird gun/battery

  • @hobojoeisme ... low resistance wiring? their only like... bronze color..

  • @randomdude1426 And wreck your shitty tamiya connectors. Deans mainly prolong the life of your connector

  • or u could just get a lipo to make ur rof higher

  • wait how will we charge our battery... Do the same with the charger connecter?

  • @SpecOpsSpruzCom good question

  • @SpecOpsSpruzCom I like to just strip the wire on the charger and stick it in in the right polarity

  • @SpecOpsSpruzCom you can get adapters, one end will fit into the charger, the other will fit to the new connecter you soldered onto the battery.

  • @SpecOpsSpruzCom Well ya, but its worth the work: )

  • @SpecOpsSpruzCom Ummmm... Probably?

  • I don't recommend electrical tape heat shrink is probably just as cheap and does the job twice as well, also I have shorted batterys and they still work but still don't do it

  • TheAirsoftReviewer1 can you do this to a regular battery

  • THanks so much my trigger resonse if better too.

  • I would like u to make a video for me that shows the rof before u did tht and after u did the change bcuz I think it was ur lipo battery u had

  • Soo can someone convince me why I shoul dnot be terrified of cutting the battery wire. Like something scientific. Why it won't blow up(yes i know it won't happen) or generally f*** up my weekend.

  • @josh245512 generally f*** up your weekend. lol the battey will short out idk about blow up tho lol

  • @josh245512

As long as you dont let the ends of the wires touch together, cut the wires at the same time with the same tool, lick them at the same time, or let each wire touch a separate open wound on each of your hands, you should be fine. See, the voltage in the battery is not nearly high enough to get past your skin resistance and shock you. And i dont actually see why shorting out a lipo for a short time would ruin it, though it would get hot and spark a lot.

  • @omgI15m Thanks. That's the exact answer I wanted aha. I appreciate it.

  • Nice carpet

  • TheAirsoftReviewer1 can this work with a regular battery not a li-po

  • Do you need to do the same thing to your charger?

  • Im confused, I thought airsoft was supposed to be realistic? Why do you morons make your guns shoot faster than the real weapon is supposed to? Might as well play paintball. I mean what's the difference? Pretty much the plastic shell that's over the gun is all that separates you.

  • @Krieger91 Its supposed to be fun.

  • if your smart charger came with alligator clips can you charge deans connectors with those?

  • imo ROF is for someone that has no skill, and only likes to spray, but thats my opinion

  • @zombierawr1 A higher ROF does increase your chance of hitting someone, airsoft guns are relatively inaccurate you know. But i do partaially agree, anything above 30 rps is just ridicoulus.

  • @Mjarf88 actually you would be surprised at how accurate one is, you must have a shitty one or something, i have a echo 1 with a madbull hopup

  • Could I use a Butane torch to solder it instead? Would make it a whole lot easier...

  • how would you charge it because i am seriously considering trying this

  • for installing these do i have to just do the battery connections for better rof/response? or would it be a good idea to do it for all the connectors?

  • LOL, sounds like crickets @ 0:14

  • why do u want more rate of fire that makes it less accurate

  • @scooby1760 Explain how a higher ROF makes it less accurate, in real world, yes it does, in airsoft, not the slightest bit.

  • Why did you not use larger cable? and some other think is to use the mosfet ...

  • 2:25 y do u cut the connector off and put the same one on?

  • How much faster will it make your gun?

  • You forgot dude :/ so you have to do the same on your charger right?

  • i never got the dean connector thing,so if i get a battery with deans and put the wiring of my gun with deans, how would i charge it? cuz ive seen on evike some adapters and shit but idk how it works, do i jsut plug the dean part in the battery and the tamiya in the charger?

  • so.... by just replacing the connectors, this will increase the rate of fire of the airsoft gun?

  • hey dude i tried this my gun shorted out and went into flames

  • @PwnerAirsoft hahah

  • @alexjumpstar yeah nice so funny i know its funny my gun sorta is now black but it still works

  • Does this work with any battery?

  • wat do you mean by you cannot let them touch the metal parts

  • i hav that EXACT same wire stripper

  • wow thats soo easy and helpful thanks a bunchi will defo b subing

  • It was a good video, but I dont see the point of increasing ROF, all it does is help your motor burn out faster. It was a good vid though

  • lol i dont have the guts to cut the connectors of my battery

  • @storytiedie dont be a pussy! :P

  • Did you just do th where the battery connects, is the fuse box still on and what about the other tamiya plgs in the gearbox

  • do you solder the deans plug to the charger like the battery?

  • so.... where's lesson 2?

  • now how do you charge your battery

  • @AAAallaboutairsoft i guess u have ti buy a new charger fir that connecter but im not sure lol good question

  • thanks for that now my rate of fire is twice as fast and is greater for CQB.

  • do I have to snip off the wire close to the gearbox connected by tamiya plugs, or only the one that actually connects to my battery?

  • not only do deans plugs increase tour rate of fire but they also conserve alot of energy

  • @scissorsharp, i use those connectors to my rchelo, (with 11.1 lipo 2400 mAh) and it will not catch fire!

  • what kind of battery were you using in the first place?

  • What do you do if you have a mosfet? Will you make a video?

  • that just doesnt look safe using the hot soldering iron on a rug

  • @scissorsrsharp Not a rug, a rag.

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1 they are both flammable enough to catch on fire

  • @scissorsrsharp Well so far I haven't had any fires over a two year period.

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1 haha^ its not like the rag is covered in gasoline ya derp =P it wont just spontaneously combust in flames if u touch the soldering iron with the rag haha and sweeet vid bro!

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1 over 2 years? good job on safety precautions. :) thanx for the vids. i used to slder in my old job and this makes me want to build my own gun.

  • @scissorsrsharp i use those connectors to my rchelo, (with 11.1 lipo 2400 mAh) and it will not catch fire!

  • @scissorsrsharp wow really ur that cautious of small things i will make video for u me sodiering something over gasoline how about them apples

  • @teamfearairsoft505 go ahead and make it. and I'll probably never watch it

  • @scissorsrsharp solder cools so fast that it wont do anything but make a darker spot on the rag and the soldering iron well you have to be a compleat domb ass to mess that up and if you do you shodent be doing this kind of stuff to your airsoft gun

  • @scissorsrsharp its called STOMP IT OUT or if ur like me put ur hand on it :) cuz im wierd like that lol

  • @scissorsrsharp The soldering iron will not cause a fire, notice that people clean the soldering tip with a rag or paper towel and nothing happens. it is totally safe.

  • @scissorsrsharp

Yeah no shit fire hazard like a mofo.

  • I am not going to lie, that negative connection on the gun looked horrible. Also, I am sorry, but when you are soldering, you should really get some of those "helping hands" because they are cheap, and then work over a surface that won't readily burst into toxic flames, like that carpet.

  • Can you go to home depot and get them?

  • Why did you replace the dean connector on the battery with another dean connector?

  • dose this lower accuresy (prob spelt that wrong) or fps

  • @TeamWPOA accuracy is determined primarily by the quality of the barrel so no.

fps is determined by the strength of the spring of the aeg, so no.

it JUST increases the rate of fire

  • How would you charge it?

  • I like your reviews but the next time you do something to upgrade your airsoft gun it would be nice if you did like a before an after! But besides that keep up the great work!

  • I like deans because they're a cheap upgrade, and there really aren't any drawbacks to them. If you're really looking to increase ROF I would recommend a new battery or motor. though.

  • LOL should you be doing that on a carpet!?

  • Looking to increase your rate of fire? BUY A FUCKIN LIPO!

  • @YoshiLover2012 lol, but this way you dont have to spend extra cash, and you save money buying regular batteries instead of lipos, which also burn up guns faster

  • @BLAYDZ99 lol i was jk, and their actualy pretty cheap li-po's out there

  • how do you charge it after the connecters are changed? i don't imagine you do the same thing to the charger, do you?

  • @SavannahScouts Yes you do, or make an adapter for the connector your charger has.

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1 Those arent tamyia plugs.. those are deans connecters.. used alot in r/c racing

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1 nvmmy bad. ill stfu lol

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1 So then what are the alligator clips on an airsoft smart charger for? Aren't they for Deans Connectors?

  • @SavannahScouts i was just about to ask the same question. thx

  • What religion are you? You look kinda jewish

  • @8JFTW That was possibly the dumbest thing i've ever read.

  • @8JFTW ?

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1 sorry dude, hacked -.-

  • @8JFTW and you care because, dude, he posts good vids, shut up and dont get him ticked at you, and why would it matter to you anyways

  • @BLAYDZ99 What did I post? I think my friend harrison logged in -.-

  • @8JFTW

Hahahaha unless thats a joke... your an idiot!

What does a persons facial features have to do with their religion or vice versa?? Its only a stupid nazi leftover retardation to think that people with larger noses are jews.

parden my spelling its late & im about togo to sleep

  • @NickDenning3 read my apology comment, i was hacked,

  • @8JFTW

That sucks. Well apology accepted then.

  • @NickDenning3 thank you :)

  • @8JFTW lol

  • @8JFTW u cant look jewish. its not genetic.

  • will you have to put the deans on your charger to ?

  • Nice!!!

  • hi is there any way to increase the rate of fire for my DPMS panther arms carbine m4 a17 without cutting wires or buying new stuff for it?

  • Dang it, you beat me to it.. I was gonna start a cheap mod series this week.. Great minds think alike.. Good job on the vid.

Tip, I only cut one battery lead at a time, that will prevent shorting them by accident.

  • @SHWELL11 I actually read your mind and thats where I got the idea.

By the way any good games going down in Florida?

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1 No big games on the schedule right now. But I have my AS radar on overdrive. We do have a new field down here in Orlando, "Combat City". I will be posting info and a schedule for them soon.

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1

Ya you can find some good games in florida, i live in st pete. and in tampa they have a game right now actually that holds about 120+ people every 1st and 3rd saturday of the month. if you would like to know were it is message me back.

  • are those masadas in the beggining? (0:15 )

  • @Apoctank Yup, mine and Rhinos, there are a total of three at our field

  • @ZeRoSiMpLe27 thats BA. is it the G&P one?

  • roflmao dude ur horrible at soldering

  • @oppisiteofafredfan Ok? The solders hold fine so I don't see how I am horrible at it. At least I don't go around youtube commenting on videos to boost my ego.

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1 no I mean you could make connections that hold just as good as those with less solder

  • So how much did that speed up the ROF of the gun??

  • Comment removed

  • I have never soldered anything before. Do you suggest I install my mosfet myself?

  • i keep at 20 RPS, Because i want to keep realism, and i want to conserve the ammo i have in my midcaps.

But overall a great DIY Guide.

  • looks great, thanks

  • lol that looks too hard

  • I like this new video series, keep up the good work.

  • Why so many people are trying to increase rof? Then they have ~50 bbs/sec and it looks just like paintball game...

  • @albi131 Thank you! Someone else had the same damn idea.

  • I do have a mosfet :(

  • Reed. You are the man!

  • ok... "Chinese fps is not equal to Marui fps" but the truth is that on good quality parts and higher fps you can get higher range... e.g. from tuned JG or Di-Boys you can get above 80m range (~265ft) and you still pay less than for a plastic marui...

Second thing is... if you someone is running you will not get him with that bullet speed... (280fps) at 30m range...

  • Do you have to do the same thing to the smart charger

  • you cut the deans off the battery to put on another deans just too show us... how nice :)

  • is there some kind of wire for that you can charge this battery's whitout changes the connector of your battery charger?

    ( sorry for bad english)

  • @themasher1 yes you can buy deans to taymia plugs or what ever you need for 4 or 5 bucks on evike

  • @themasher1 Sadly no, you have to buy an adapter or get a deans on the charger.

  • @themasher1 For what you are saying, I usually build an adapter so I can have a small type tamiya connector or a Dean Connector for instances when I charge someone elses batteries. I take the lead from the battery I switched over and add a Male Dean to the other end of wires. This is used one my charger and when I need to go back, I just unplug it.

  • airsoftreviewer, i understand that this is leson 1, but in the future, are you going to show how to short stoke a piston, swiss cheese a piston and some diys?

  • @CoDmanzero Yes, I will show some of the easier ways to bump up rate of fire and some of the harder ways.

  • oh man you didnt fall for that deans dont work

  • thats the good way of sodering,

i had to learn it in school way back ;)

  • soder iron?

  • @AidanXD10 soldering iron

  • thanks for this tip on soldering. much better than the way I was doing it lol. also, u can check fry's electronics for deans connectors. theyre a really good store.

  • @Raneuvfire Yes! I have to stop by the store next time I am near them.

  • on carpet?

  • @icemario333 On a rag.

  • @TheAirsoftReviewer1 ON A RAG?!

  • @PlayWithShow Keep parts from moving all over the place.

  • not risking it lol

  • Much thanks. I've been trying to put deans on my gun but I wasn't sure how to do it. Thanks to you I now can!!

  • hmm, i think you should've done a before and after of the RoF, just to compare. good tip, though.

  • @aoyucui123 I don't see why not.

  • is this just to increase the rate of fire? i dont really feel like doing this to my tsd mp5k

  • @TacoBellCrew

Yes he is it was a 7.4 lipo battery

  • nice
