WHAT IS BEING SCREAMED OUT IS THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE POLITICIANS [OF THE UK] ARE DECEITFUL & OUT OF TOUCH [AS THEY ARE FREEMASONS & SWEAR TO THE PRIVATE OATH TO DECEIVE] - HOUSING IN THE UK NEEDS TO BE URGENTLY ADDRESSED - NOT TREATED AS A MEANS TO TREAT PEOPLE LIKE INSECTS AND PROPERTIES AS "INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES"!
A 94 year old woman on my road recently came out of hospital and found squatters in her house, they broke her wheel chair and her stair support system. They also smashed all her ornaments and burned her photos and memories.
This woman has worked all her life for that and they just come and ruin it? I think you would have to be a pretty sick person to justify such actions and for that reason i condem people like you, who promote such unlawful actions which are denounced by the majority of us.
WHO ARE "PEOPLE LIKE ME"? DO YOU KNOW "PEOPLE LIKE ME"?
WHO ARE "THE MAJORITY OF US"?
The example you give is clearly CRIMINAL & UNACCEPTABLE.
[No one needs to have studied law to be aware of the same!]
Your example raises very MANY ISSUES that cannot & should not be easily glossed over!
Who was liasing with the 94 year old lady (the "woman" as you describe the lady in your use of the language)her next of kin/neighbours(like you?)/friends (like you?) to check her real property was secure?
Was there NO liaison with Social Services? The local authority to check the lady was being cared for and her property was being looked after with ADDED SECURITY by the very fact the lady was admitted to the hospital?
Were the local POLICE informed (who would have notified Traffic & Area Cars + Beat Police + PCSOs) - as they should have been - of potential SECURITY/INSECURITY issues - by "friendly, caring neighbours" - if any of them saw the Ambulance or were aware of the Hospital Admission?
Re the 94 year old LADY - in YOUR ROAD who recently came out of hospital & found squatters in HER HOUSE - YouHousing wonders what the contributor [pathetic321] offered by way of neighbourly support to a GOOD neighbour in "the ROAD of "pathetic321"?
"A pretty sick person would justify such actions" but did "pathetic321" discover THE REASONS for such action - are they as described?
Was DRUGS involved? ALCOHOL involved? SATANISM involved?
Courts look at EVIDENCE - if CRIMES ARE COMMITTED
@needparalegal So you won't mind if I wear that watch of yours while you're not wearing it. I'll also take a bath in your bath when you're not in it & I'll use your car while you're at work. Same logic as squatting.
@whitbyjet65 Ownership is a delusion, created by warlords to justify dominion over others. While it may bring some stability it is simply a delusion. The only reality is that the strong rule the weak.
@needparalegal Oh it's delusional is it? So you won't mind if I come over & take your computer off you? I'll also have your shoes, your jumper, your money & your dinner. After all, you don't own them because that'd just be delusional, wouldn't it? Please let me have your address/location & I'll set off straight away. Cheers!
@762SLR762 In some areas even the cheapest properties are 4 times the average income for a couple, but if there were more houses on offer then prices would lower. Empty homes contribute to the shortage. Lower prices for property is good news for those of us who do proper work for a living rather than speculate on property. Homes should be seen as exactly that - homes, not investments and a way to make easy money.
If there's a valid reason for leaving a house empty for a long period, ask (or even pay) someone to look after it, rent it to someone you trust, or sell it - there are plenty of people looking for homes. Empty houses distort the property market
I think it's fair to say that owners of long empty homes have done more to create the housing shortage than immigration has.
Newspapers focus on the rare cases, ignoring the ones that have been empty for years. I know of no-one who's been made permanently homeless by squatters. There was a recent case in the papers, but the occupants were former tennants who stopped paying rent, not (as they claimed) "squatters" at all.
"Property Rights" are bunkum when the majority of people are priced out of the opportunity of actually buying property.
@762SLR762 All householders need to do if their properties get tresspassed is to obtain a Court Order. The court will oblige, unless there is a good reason not to. It is sensible way to stop householders from putting themselves (or their dogs) in danger by trying to physically remove the squatters themselves - in the same way as people being expected to call the fire brigade to put out a large fireinstead of trying to do it themselves.
@RichieStrongTea yes but the court system takes time - where do you go in the mean time? Not everyone has the money to pay to go else where, plus some people may store all their money in their house.
If you think squatters are so great, invite them all over to yours!
@762SLR762 Empty homes helped cause the housing problems we now face - they reduce supply, so that supply cannot met demand, thus pushing prices out of the reach of most British people. The banking crash was largely due to lenders giving people mortgages they could not afford to pay back, as a result of these stupid property prices. Empty homes are also a blight on the neighbourhood, esp if they are not maintained. No man is an island.
@RichieStrongTea It's even worse when squatters move in. They hardly ever look after the property. Do you see the majority of squaters going around cutting the grass, watering the plants, cleaning the windows and maintaining the house? NO.
Squatters are nothing but a bunch of socialist scum, who have never done a decent days work in their lives. By promoting squatting you're promoting this idea of everyone doing nothing all day and just relying on taking what isn't legally theirs!
ARE YOU AWARE HOW COMMON LAND WAS MISAPPROPRIATED FROM THE BRITISH PEOPLE?
WHO WAS TO BENEFIT?
ARE YOU AWARE OF "RENT RE-STRUCTURING" LEGISLATION BROUGHT IN BY THE ACL BLAIR + CHARLES FALCONER [HIS EX FLAT MATE] [NEW LABOUR] GOVERNMENT TO SUBSTANTIALLY INCREASE RENTS FOR REGISTERED SOCIAL LANDLORD ("RSL") & COUNCIL TENANTS?
ARE YOU AWARE OF THE CHANGE TO DENY SECURITY OF TENURE TO RSL & COUNCIL TENANTS?
ARE YOU AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL "DEMOTED" TENANCIES?
@666Nightshift Oh, i have no idea. I'm not a squatter, i just have met some of them (and i respect them). Plus, i'm not british (argentinean) so i can't help you with any legal matter in your country.
i hope others learn that the globalists, the world bankers, and leaders are the ones making this happen. the people should look at who's behind their leaders, the real puppet masters, the people should learn about the cfr, and other things, the un. it's not these peoples fault. they should find ways to teach each other about who's really behind all of this, and fight them. in my country wall street took over the government , and caused many things like this.
"At least these folks aren't just sitting around expecting the government to help them"
.... but whats the situation with council taxes, getting your rubbish/ recycling taken away, maintaining streets, policing etc. and using other peoples energy sources?
You are benefitting from this. Why should others pay?
The post left in the small mansion that my mate and his housemates squatted date from 2004 I believe - but they only squatted it this year, 2010. Hardly kicking anyone out, were they? Yes, they're in contact with the owner. Also, the 'law-abiding' neighbours' kids had been stealing roof tiles off it for ages (not sure what for) and probably broke in many times. Damaging the property through water damage. Now it's in better condition. Criminals? Not because of squatting this unused house.
No, those cases ARE rare, which is one of the reasons (as well as the one I mentioned in my previous post) why they get reported - if a common occurance it wouldn't be newsworthy . Dog bites man = not news; Man bites dog = news.
There are way too many empty homes in the UK and it is a SCANDAL. Why no outrage about that? At least these folks aren't just sitting around expecting the government to help them. Frankly if you don't live in this country then our laws are none of your business.
You people are criminals and I can promise you this - if you little shitbags try to steal my home then I'll shoot every last one of you motherfuckers.
@thegoodlocust Get over yourself, you violent nutter. Unless you keep your home empty for years on end, these "criminals" won't touch it with a bargepole. The real criminals are those who keep houses empty for long periods. It is VERY rare for holidaymakers to have their homes squatted - the papers focus on these stories as they have an agenda to keep demand high and supply low.
@RichieStrongTea Bullshit, there was recently a case of about a dozen Italian students moving into a guys house when he went away for a week. They were laughing and smiling at the cameras and refused to leave. The police wouldn't get rid of them and the guy has to take them to court. They ARE criminals and the papers focus on these cases because they are so outrageous. Videos like this encourage and teach people how to be thieves and how to abuse the dumb laws in England.
If a property is Squatted [Adversely Possessed in legal parlance] and you are a residential owner, clearly it is up to you as the holder of the Freehold Title to assert your interest...If the owner can do that, then a date will be fixed for a County Court hearing
District Judges, Deputy District Judges & Circuit Judges are only too aware of the competing interests & what should or should not take precedence... so things are NOT as you might have thought, automatically favouring any Squatter!
What about the moral aspects of squatting? I will admit that I don't know much about it but say I've gone on holiday, come back and found that the house I own has had the locks changed and someone new is living there. I would then be homeless and have no access to any of my possessions. I can appeciate that it may be a different matter if it is a building that isn't usually occupied. Clue me in if i've got the wrong end of the stick...
Please understand that this is all about competing CLAIMS...
As you would expect, the law invariably looks at what is REASONABLE in the circumstances... that is the very basic starting point...
Will the owner of the Freehold Interest defend his interest or not...?
Some owners of Freehold property [with vast financial resources] have purchased property for merely SPECULATIVE profits with absolutely NO intention of ever living in the same...
