@juanez6280 Not that I know of. Don't try and do it either, you might end up paying for a new ECU. Buy a full exhaust and filter. They're super cheap for your bike.

@unit666industries Same thing happened to mine. I haven't rode the bike in about a year. It's probably the stator. The crew is either loose or it came off on the top.

Yeah, I kind of remember. You can either get Ivan's servo motor eliminator or use a zip tie on the servo. I don't really recall how to do the zip tie trick but, message me and I'll try and get back at ya asap. If I figure it out I'll try and do a how to vid as well.

Hey, i changed my exhaust on my 07 ZX6R to a yoshimura and i didnt get any flashing red light. Ive seen other people do it. Thats weird. Is it still flashing?

yea i always wondered why my bike felt like it lost a lil bit of power when i got to about 14k rpm... they restricted the power on american models.. the europian models come with no restrictions.. them bastards lol.. im not sure if i will do this to mine or not... either way its insanely fast lol. You don't necessarily need to take the tail off. I just happened to have mine off 'cause of my fall. You just need to take off the riders seat cover to expose the wire.

I would at least say an 1". You'll be able to tell once you hit the higher revs (14K+) if not go have your bike dyno tested. The mod will work though if done correctly.

Yes it will work for your '05 and you will gain around the same HP range of 6-9.

It will work, but you'll only gain 2 HP at the most. The plug is located near the servo motor under the seat if you were curious. You're better off with just a slip on and a power commander.

No negatives and it will not ruin your bike in the long run. I learned how to do this on KawiForums. Try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Just be safe.

lol. Take your time. Look at the "all" the wires one by one and trace where they may lead to. You're bound to find it. There's no way you can miss it. If it helps, remove your battery, it will probably give you more searching room.

not only HP but smooth throttle, and I'm assuming top end, haven't tried that out yet. lol. dude I hope no one flags this vid, seems like there's always someone trying to hide this type of info. I think the 07-08 zx6r's are in dier need of this mod.
