Women can, and should lift heavy weights without fear of getting "bulky". 99% of women won't get "huge" no matter how heavy they lift. They will get a very nice, fit looking physique- think fitness competitor

Resistance bands are awesome, they're amazingly versatile, well worth the $20 or so.

If you do not have weights you can use filled water bottles at home :) I highly suggest buying a band for travel and for home workouts!
