DAM NIT! since im a diver when they say double back i think they mean double back flip not back doubble full. oh i learned to do a handstand. not braqgging here just saying...
@18armyboy show some respect dude, standing dubs aren't easy. it took me months before i got it. once you can do standing double full then you may critique
@Rainbowbubblesxoxo Yeah that's true, but a few of the best trickers out there are all white :) RACE FIGHT!!! JK this guy is insane though, i can only do a standing dub on my tramp haha
Please add in the title what the double means, when you just said double, I assused front flip/back flip. Please put twirl in the title, or spin, or whatever it is called. Thank you.
Yo, I'm a gymnast who competes at the highest level... I'm not the best out there, not even close, but I know my stuff so let my just say.... MAD RESPECT!!!
god im so tired of these people and there "you have bad form or technique.". Its a standing double, you don't have very much time in a standing full to be messing around with technique, let alone a double. Not to mention the people who are commenting on it, can't do a standing double off a 1m diving boar. Show some damn respect people, good grief.
@DCProductions77 haha dude technique is what allows you to standing double..you can't do it without good technique. And if you can standing double, it generally means you have good technique.
i am workin on my round off back handspring full and i cant seem 2 twist rite and well i am like really young so how old were u wenever u got ur round off full and that was really good keep it up and VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!!
i dont h8 him,and u all couldnt do a standing tuck,so stfu and gtfh, and shit,4 such a difficult skill his tech wasnt 2 bad,as 4 injury potential,u only get hurt if u get hurt, wear n tear heals u dumazz,it makes ur tendonz stronger, eugenetunaya?good job from sum1 else who has never had formal training
This is pretty damn awesome - you twist really fast I must say. I'm trying to get stand full twist down - I think it's about there now (I can do it on a teamtrack other similiar places) however I DO have an injury and I really don't think trying this out on floor/grass is a good idea yet. Anyway, screw the haters, this is awesome no matter what! :)
THANK U for not taking steps. I always count off points because taking steps does not make it a standing full...or double full. Keep up the good work!
Yes it is difficult....... yes it takes big nads..... but of what value is it?
the technique is poor..... wont lead one to future more complex/diffuclut skills DOES GREATLY INCREASE INJURY potential either in short term "AND/OR.... LONG TERM even if it is just from wear and tear.
try reading the the first 4 words of the last paragraph...
wow. this guy just keeps whining about injury and wear/tear. i'm pretty sure all sports have that effect. it's not something that this person ISN'T aware of. if you do something as difficult as this, you're aware of it. he's not 2, he can think... and tumble for himself.
i would like to see all of these haters do this, man you are extremely talented and all of these people know it. they just want to be picky to make you feel bad about your flips, dont let it get you you because this takes 100% skill and 100% balls dude.
@ItsAllJustMovement Again, I said I know i took a hop, not on purpose, just out of habit, this was five years ago...If you wanna talk, back it up with your skills
@eugenetunaya fair enough, and I actually will be able to do what u did. But I just had surgery on my ankle from a nasty break. But I will film it and send it to you VERY FIRST K!!!
Ok "dip shit", then lets see your video of a standing double without a hop? Seriously, I am dying to see it. Oh, whats that? You can't do a standing double? Then shut the fuck up, because although the technique might not be there, this looks incredibly hard to do.
@xxsolidsnake937xx I can actually on tramp but i have a broken ankle now so it will take a while for me to get it on floor. But when I do, I'll make sure U are the first person to see it K. Now have a good day :)
Ha ha, sure bro, I will be anxiously waiting the video from you. And just a little fyi, a trampoline is nothing like doing this on the floor. But yeah, once you land a standing double, on the floor, without any movement at all, send me a video, would love to see it.
@ParkourDenver Thanks man, way to be positive! Not!!! And you are wrong, on tramp I can. And one day I will be able to do it on solid ground. Trust me.
@eugenetunaya- Never stated nor assumed ya don't know about progressions. BTW standing &/or slow tumble into flip w/ twist use different technique in flip twist. Analyze tumbling from 50 yrs ago & their technique. Particularly the Jap. Thusly the different techniques use diff. progressions. Even w/ those techniques that evolved, the practice was stopped due to higher wear & tear injury to athletes, & cause tech. is different for typical tumbling on springs and for flyers flip twist

@coachgeo ughhhh because its fucking awesome. if you're going to live and train by your ideology, then why do anything? Standing tucks have injury potential too just not as much. By your name and the way you talk you seem like a gymnastics coach, which is awesome. But I'm sry, I'm just sick and damn tired of ya'll givin us cheerleaders a hard time. Let us do our thing, we don't talk shit about bars and rings and shit. So don't talk shit about our standing doubles and our "bad" form. That is all.
@feelthefoo.... understand where your coming from. Yet, its like a kid listening to a parent ... ya just refuse to believe folk that "been there" "done that" "seen the results" are worth a listen. Has nothing to do with hating on cheer, just pointing out there is a reason standing tumble faded out long time ago. Good reasons. Being willing to listen instead of calling it hate could save alot of young athletes from repeating mistakes that slow their overall training and cause long term injury.
@coachgeo well regardless, we're always gonna be made to standing tumble. its part of every routine. yer arguing a battle youre never going to win. again, we let you have your bars, rings, vaults, w/e else you may do. and we say nothing about it. let us have our standing tumbling. plus im pretty sure any sort of dismount from a bar (especially to another bar) is wayyyyy more dangerous than a standing double.
@feelthefoo ONE, Dont expect ya to stop, just want parents to know all the facts: Cheer world is asking their child to be doing skills that show to have a higher injury rate. TWO there are techniques from many years ago for doing it in a way that does reduce injury rate SLIGHTLY. THREE - not talking crash injury potential, but wear & tear injury to ligaments & cartledge creating mobility & pain issues later in life. FOUR there Are Gymnast who do stunt dance & tumble ONLY- Acrobatic Gymnast
@coachgeo Why do such things? To break limits, to try things people have never done before...The technique may be poor in this video, but I have others, this was the first one I had ever gotten on video...I may not have the best technique, but I learned everything on my own, and when it comes to standing skills, these are by far one of the more complex/difficult skills I've seen, and have done...and I have never injured or hurt myself learning or doing this skill
@coachgeo Just because I never took gymnastics doesn't mean I don't know how to go about skills and take things by progressions...I don't just throw my body around
@coachgeo Also, not everything involving flips are used for gymnastics you know. I'm not sure if this guy is a cheerleader or not, but standing double fulls are the single hardest form of standing tumbling allowed in cheerleading. As a gymnast this may have few, if any, uses, in cheerleading, it is perhaps one of the most valued skills you can have. And because you're capped at one flip and 2 twists, there is no form of harder standing tumbling so his technique doesn't have to allow for more.
@Scottyg978 - Your missing the picture. Technique that puts you at a mechanical advantage IS SAFER, IT PRODUCES LESS WEAR AND TEAR INJURY to the joints etc.. As you state standing gets higher point value placed on it in cheer. That is a situation one should really go hmmmmm about. History shows it raises wear and tear injury... yet its a high point value, thus encouraged to be done... hmmmm.. whats wrong with that picture.
@Scottyg978 - Your missing the picture. Technique that puts you at a mechanical advantage IS SAFER, IT PRODUCES LESS WEAR AND TEAR INJURY to the joints etc.. History shows it raises wear and tear injury... yet its a high point value, thus encouraged to be done... hmmmm.. whats wrong with that picture???
@tylerjacksonn Gymnast of the era who tumbled w/out springs most likely borrowed the tech. from Martial Artist. Esp. That tech. fits this situation. Now that being said... again... don't give a shiat about whose tech. it is... simply... using anybodys tech. that slows / reduces wear -n- tear injury is just sorta smart. Take the flip around the side some. Will allow for higher odds of completed twist. Over time reduces poor landings. Saves the joints. If anyone want's drills msg me.
@coachgeo A back full twist is difficult. A back double twist is even more so and takes dedication and training. The technique is not poor. I am a gymnastics coach and sure he would get reductions for technique in competitions but that is in an ennvironment where the precision matters more than the actual move. The value of it is fun, enjoyment and a sense of achievment, the same as any sport played for fun is. If you can't appreciate the skill in this move then keep your thoughts to yourself.
@DjAJ69er - didn't say it was poor. Its wrong one to maintain low level of wear & tear injury. Most gymnastic coaches who have NOT academically studied biomechanics / motor learning wont get it either. The general tech. used for standing tumbling now is somewhat the same it would be for present day run tumbling & is NOT right tech. Think outside the box back to days w/out springs. Old tech. from then is the one that fits this best. Smart coach will protect kids though & NOT stand tumble.
@coachgeo Actually if you would look at your first comment you DID say that it was poor. I didn't say that he couldn't hurt himself either immediately or in the long term. I agree that standing moves are more likely to injure. But he clearly isn't a kid and in a reply to you he stated that he learned on his own, so without coach guidence of course he will try things like this but he does it well for someone who hasn't been coached. Your argument won't stop him so I don't really see the point.
@DjAJ69er Your point is well takent I did say "poor" in the first post. Rest of the post further defined the statement. As to not seeing the point in discussing; was written three weeks ago to @feelthefoo. restating: to use this discussion as a vehicle to educate parents of cheer athletes & I'll add to that; athletes old enough to think wisely for themselves, that there is a different tech that is smarter to use, & to get them to qo hmmm... about what is being asked of their children
@coachgeo Fair play and your statement are correct, mostly. Yes there are better techs to use and some people need to be told what they are by someone who knows. BUT, the original comment you posted includes the statement, 'but what value is it?' Well fun is the first thing that springs to mind there. 'What is being asked of their children' implies that a coach is involved and as eugenetunaya stated he learned on his own. Your comments are true enough now but your original comment seems hateful.
Yes it is difficult....... yes it takes big nads..... but of what value is it?
→ -> •► the technique is poor ◄• <- ←..... wont lead one to future more complex/diffuclut skills DOES GREATLY INCREASE INJURY potential either in short term "AND/OR.... LONG TERM even if it is just from wear and tear.
thats called a standing full. and that wasnt a step it was just a little hop. but with me i dont do that or i loose alot of height. and those who want to learn the standing full consintrate more on the spin more than the back flip
people who tumble don't understand that for any back flip your feet move a little when you squat before the flip and that was simply that. amazing double
ATTENTION EVERYONE!....ESPECIALLY CHEERLEADERS..WHEN ATTEMPTING A STANDING ANYTHING!!....YOU DONT TAKE ANY STEPS!...AND YOUR FEET DONT LEAVE THE GROUND TO PREP!....ITS A SQUAT AND GO!!..
ALL U NIGGAHZ NEED TOO SHUTT UO THAT WAZ A STANDING FOOL AND A REALLY GOOD ONE FOR THAT IF YOUR TELIN MEH THAT NIT A STANDIN DOUBLE U GO MAKE A JIDEO WITH U DOIIN YOUR STANDIN DOUBLE WITH NO STEPS :)
why is it that no matter how many videos of standing fulls or doubles i watch i can never find anyone that can land one perfectly?? there's gotta be someone out there who can...
Respect for both gymnasts and cheerleaders... even though they look down upon freerunners and trickers =( Bailing out of a back full on asphalt is not fun you know.
So TnTteam and Xocheer, you two should calm down and respect each sports' unique demands.
@JoshReed0 Just to comment on yours, I respect anyone and everyone, doesn't matter what sport/hobby you do, I don't look down upon anyone, unless they put others down or try to spot little imperfections...and to everyone out there, not trying to sound like I'm the best or anything, but you try it, and then talk to me...
Cause get what? I busted my butt for it, but if you want to keep talking, feel free, it'll only make me better, so thanks
@eugenetunaya AND gymnastics dont bust their ass???buddy ur wrong, so just stop trying annd act like ur better than everyone and you say"oh im not trying to" but ur a 2 face is what you are
@TnTteam09 I'm definitely not acting like I'm better than anyone, and I never said gymnasts don't bust their butt, I've seen it, they put the hours in and so do I, I never said I was the best, there are a lot of things I can and can't do, and there's other people that can do crazier skills than I can...and it pumps me up to try and get better...but I'm not gonna knock them and judge them because its a different "sport" but tumbling is tumbling regardless of the sport
people saying its not standing.. are you stupid. or blind?!!! he moved an inch its soo standing! you go try this im sure you would probably umm.. die. hahaha this video maade my jaw drop! sooo good!
@TnTteam09 well not in cheerleading. in cheerleading standing means NO OTHER TYPES OF TUMBLING BEFORE IT. so this is considered standing.. soo suck ma dick
@mallorinaaa This is why cheerleaders are sooo amature and stuck up..gosh get the fuck out, cheerleaders just wanna have the tumbling skills as the gymnast's...thats why im a gymnast:)...soo put that in ur juice box and suck it
@Xocheerkrazii143 i didnt know they changed the word "sence" to "since" you obviously ARE a cheerleader...hahahaha..Did you fall and hit ur head to hard or something XD
@Xocheerkrazii143 oh im sorry i guess "cheerleaders have never herd the expression"put that in your juice box and suck it". Let me spell it out for you, It means to basicly suck a dick XD
@TnTteam09 just to end this conversation. if cheerleaders wanted the same tumbling as gymnasts, we'd be graceful, not fierce.. if we wanted the same tumbling as gymnasts. we'd BE gymnasts. i'm sick of little 14 year old gymnasts BASHING cheerleading, seriously? most young gymnasts make the switch to cheerleading anyway. ask most cheerleaders, a majority of them use to be gymnasts. get over it! two different sports/ hobbies/ whatever the heck you want to call it.
@TnTteam09 lol okay, cause you've tried every single sport :) gotcha! i'm not wasting anymore of my time arguing with a pointless 14 year old gymnast, have a nice day :)
@TnTteam09 Any sport is just as hard as the other, nothing is exactly the same...because I'm sure if I tried other sports I'd find it just as hard, thank you super athlete for your words of wisdom
YOU TOOK A HOP....NOPE!

And because you're capped at one flip and 2 twists, there is no form of harder standing tumbling so his technique doesn't have to allow for more.
Scottyg978 10 months ago
@Scottyg978 - Your missing the picture. Technique that puts you at a mechanical advantage IS SAFER, IT PRODUCES LESS WEAR AND TEAR INJURY to the joints etc.. As you state standing gets higher point value placed on it in cheer. That is a situation one should really go hmmmmm about. History shows it raises wear and tear injury... yet its a high point value, thus encouraged to be done... hmmmm.. whats wrong with that picture.

@coachgeo you are a complete asshole and idiot. who gives a shit if his technique isnt "gymnastic perfect" i would love to see you do that.
tylerjacksonn 9 months ago
@tylerjacksonn Gymnast of the era who tumbled w/out springs most likely borrowed the tech. from Martial Artist. Esp. That tech. fits this situation. Now that being said... again... don't give a shiat about whose tech. it is... simply... using anybodys tech. that slows / reduces wear -n- tear injury is just sorta smart. Take the flip around the side some. Will allow for higher odds of completed twist. Over time reduces poor landings. Saves the joints. If anyone want's drills msg me.
coachgeo 9 months ago
@coachgeo A back full twist is difficult. A back double twist is even more so and takes dedication and training. The technique is not poor. I am a gymnastics coach and sure he would get reductions for technique in competitions but that is in an ennvironment where the precision matters more than the actual move. The value of it is fun, enjoyment and a sense of achievment, the same as any sport played for fun is. If you can't appreciate the skill in this move then keep your thoughts to yourself.
DjAJ69er 9 months ago
@DjAJ69er - didn't say it was poor. Its wrong one to maintain low level of wear & tear injury. Most gymnastic coaches who have NOT academically studied biomechanics / motor learning wont get it either. The general tech. used for standing tumbling now is somewhat the same it would be for present day run tumbling & is NOT right tech. Think outside the box back to days w/out springs. Old tech. from then is the one that fits this best. Smart coach will protect kids though & NOT stand tumble.
coachgeo 9 months ago
@coachgeo Actually if you would look at your first comment you DID say that it was poor. I didn't say that he couldn't hurt himself either immediately or in the long term. I agree that standing moves are more likely to injure. But he clearly isn't a kid and in a reply to you he stated that he learned on his own, so without coach guidence of course he will try things like this but he does it well for someone who hasn't been coached. Your argument won't stop him so I don't really see the point.
DjAJ69er 9 months ago
@DjAJ69er Your point is well takent I did say "poor" in the first post. Rest of the post further defined the statement. As to not seeing the point in discussing; was written three weeks ago to @feelthefoo. restating: to use this discussion as a vehicle to educate parents of cheer athletes & I'll add to that; athletes old enough to think wisely for themselves, that there is a different tech that is smarter to use, & to get them to qo hmmm... about what is being asked of their children
coachgeo 9 months ago
@coachgeo Fair play and your statement are correct, mostly. Yes there are better techs to use and some people need to be told what they are by someone who knows. BUT, the original comment you posted includes the statement, 'but what value is it?' Well fun is the first thing that springs to mind there. 'What is being asked of their children' implies that a coach is involved and as eugenetunaya stated he learned on his own. Your comments are true enough now but your original comment seems hateful.

@coachgeo
you did say the word "poor" dude...
This is OLDDDD VIDEO
But since recent responces have gone up
why do such things ????????
Yes it is difficult....... yes it takes big nads..... but of what value is it?
→ -> •► the technique is poor ◄• <- ←..... wont lead one to future more complex/diffuclut skills DOES GREATLY INCREASE INJURY potential either in short term "AND/OR.... LONG TERM even if it is just from wear and tear.
I added some arrows so you'd see it...
^_^

people who tumble don't understand that for any back flip your feet move a little when you squat before the flip and that was simply that. amazing double

Respect for both gymnasts and cheerleaders... even though they look down upon freerunners and trickers =( Bailing out of a back full on asphalt is not fun you know.
So TnTteam and Xocheer, you two should calm down and respect each sports' unique demands.
JoshReed0 1 year ago
@JoshReed0 Just to comment on yours, I respect anyone and everyone, doesn't matter what sport/hobby you do, I don't look down upon anyone, unless they put others down or try to spot little imperfections...and to everyone out there, not trying to sound like I'm the best or anything, but you try it, and then talk to me...
Cause get what? I busted my butt for it, but if you want to keep talking, feel free, it'll only make me better, so thanks
eugenetunaya 1 year ago
@eugenetunaya AND gymnastics dont bust their ass???buddy ur wrong, so just stop trying annd act like ur better than everyone and you say"oh im not trying to" but ur a 2 face is what you are
TnTteam09 1 year ago
@TnTteam09 I'm definitely not acting like I'm better than anyone, and I never said gymnasts don't bust their butt, I've seen it, they put the hours in and so do I, I never said I was the best, there are a lot of things I can and can't do, and there's other people that can do crazier skills than I can...and it pumps me up to try and get better...but I'm not gonna knock them and judge them because its a different "sport" but tumbling is tumbling regardless of the sport

mallorinaaa 1 year ago 31
@mallorinaaa DUMBASS thats not standng, standing is no movement!!!..(example) no bounce, no hop, no step, no 1 inch step....
TnTteam09 1 year ago
@TnTteam09 well not in cheerleading. in cheerleading standing means NO OTHER TYPES OF TUMBLING BEFORE IT. so this is considered standing.. soo suck ma dick
mallorinaaa 1 year ago
@mallorinaaa This is why cheerleaders are sooo amature and stuck up..gosh get the fuck out, cheerleaders just wanna have the tumbling skills as the gymnast's...thats why im a gymnast:)...soo put that in ur juice box and suck it
TnTteam09 1 year ago
@TnTteam09 too bad that made no since... "put that in your juice box and suck it" yah you ARE a gymnast.. haha
Xocheerkrazii143 1 year ago
@Xocheerkrazii143 i didnt know they changed the word "sence" to "since" you obviously ARE a cheerleader...hahahaha..Did you fall and hit ur head to hard or something XD
TnTteam09 1 year ago
@TnTteam09 oh my bad, i guess gymnasts have never heard of TYPOS :)
Xocheerkrazii143 1 year ago
@Xocheerkrazii143 oh im sorry i guess "cheerleaders have never herd the expression"put that in your juice box and suck it". Let me spell it out for you, It means to basicly suck a dick XD
TnTteam09 1 year ago
@TnTteam09 oh my bad, i thought gymnasts were classy- OOPS! but sweetie, it's heard, not herd. & basically, not basicly. and those were no typos :)
Xocheerkrazii143 1 year ago
@TnTteam09 just to end this conversation. if cheerleaders wanted the same tumbling as gymnasts, we'd be graceful, not fierce.. if we wanted the same tumbling as gymnasts. we'd BE gymnasts. i'm sick of little 14 year old gymnasts BASHING cheerleading, seriously? most young gymnasts make the switch to cheerleading anyway. ask most cheerleaders, a majority of them use to be gymnasts. get over it! two different sports/ hobbies/ whatever the heck you want to call it.
Xocheerkrazii143 1 year ago
@Xocheerkrazii143 yes i know that...GYMNASTICS is the hardest sport ever!!
TnTteam09 1 year ago
@TnTteam09 lol okay, cause you've tried every single sport :) gotcha! i'm not wasting anymore of my time arguing with a pointless 14 year old gymnast, have a nice day :)
