Greetings, Hey there, good job. Next video I would like to see your friend describe his technique for getting his friends to work so cheerfully for him. His name isn't Tom Sawyer is it? regards
We have recently started to use old tractor tires as garden boxes. We get them for free and they work fantastic. Great job here growing your own food.
@LaminatedGardenGuide Mounds are also "double reach" so that you can plant & harvest from both sides, you won't compact the soil and never have to dig once it's established. Between crops, you can fence it off temporarily and let chickens weed, aerate, fertilize and get rid of any pests while feeding them to produce your eggs. And you get better drainage too.
The horse radish will be huge when ready to harvest, do you prune the leaf system as it grows to keep it inside the walls or just let it grow out of the container?
Oh, I'm with dionysusstar! Recycling work...and if you don't have all the materials u need, why not ask a neighbor? Mines love when I ask them for stuff they were waiting to dispose in anyways. See what I did in that video response I just posted :)
I love urban recycling! Corrugated metal has so many different uses. You have to be careful not to tear up your hands on this stuff, though. (so I found out) Cool garden, very creative!

This is very good. Do you grow succulents?

You could tie that center post to the fence with a piece of rope to reinforce it a little bit.

if you're looking for the cheapest and easiest way to do raised beds and you have the room for it, then raised bed mounds are the way to go!
Raised bed garden mounds have all the same benefits of framed beds, but with now cost for materials. You simply create raised beds without the box.

Great idea! I really like this idea and just might have to find a place to try it out.

That concept is very cool and more people should attempt the same thing in their backyards. Great job!
