  • Is it true these weapons will only shoot hollow s??

  • I had 1 of these back when they were called Jennings like in 98 in stainless ..I liked it,it served its purpose ..good video

  • have you fired the p.o.s yet just asking and how did you like it oh make sure you fire about 1000rds first then get back with me but there was some things you left out but good vid

  • @pj12251982 you're absolutely right. Was at a gun show and this one man was trying desperately to sell these and not a soul would buy one. Usually you get what you pay for with guns, and any gun that costs under 400 (apart from antique guns) is more than likely a total pos

  • @tblineage1214 that what I thought when I got one I had to send the slide in and get all new slide firing pin firing spring and the pin and the little gray thing that hold all that in I sent it in about a week today and still have not got anything back from them It is a good beginners gun that is about it and I advise anyone NOT to get it unless you just want to have it for fun shooting ttyl

  • its shoot nices

  • that's your usual Crow, like Shinny shit

  • dude you keep aiming at your face XD

  • @franciscoroco LOL, dude.. I know what i'm doing.. This weapon is unloaded and i knew that... I am a stickler when it comes to safety so i know how to handle a firearm in a safe manner. Thanks for watching and please keep watching!!!

  • @TechGunsSportsLOVER ok, be safe, and good shooting! make a video in the range or blowing some soda bottles xD

  • You realize you can get a brand new one with two mags and a trigger lock for around $140 right? I know where you can get a sweet ambidextrous holster for $10. A box of ammo is also around $10. You got hosed for about $50+. Good review though, and a good gun, despite what people (most of whom have never owned or fired one) will say. I'm very satisfied with my .380 from them, buying a 9mm tomorrow. They produce a fantastic line of firearms in terms of value. Lifetime warranty, and made in the U.S.

  • Looks a hell of a lot better than a Hipoint, it shoots better, and they shoot just as good as my good guns, I got this guns just to keep in the truck, boat, car, etc places where I don't put my good guns.

  • Very nice vid! I especially like the sort of in depth explanation of the features of the particular gun you review. Keep up the good work!

  • @GrandmasterLix thanks for checking it out.

  • cool gun, i just like the look, as well as the price!

  • @06spe09 Yep, its a decent little handgun. Thanks for watching.

  • $213!! jesus where did you buy it, i got that same gun brand new for $125 and a used one for $80

  • @blinky23456 LOL, i did not talk about all the extras i got with the gun. I got extra magazines, box of ammo and a holster as well..... so all in all it was worth every penny. Thanks for watching.

  • I had one of these a few years ago. the slide blew apart lol... I've got pics of it too

  • @67mustangreg LOL, i'd love to see the pictures. That will be a good video, showing the pics as well... I have not had one single problem yet, lets hope it stays that way. Thanks for watching.

  • If you need to use hollow points use remmington - golden saber, this are the only hollow points that will cycle without any issues

  • @1Blkkato Thanks brother. I'm gonna stick with the cheap stuff from wal mart for now. Have not had any cycling issues as of yet, gonna fire it up again this weekend. Thanks for watching.

  • Bought one for my wife, her first semi-auto. Great gun! Nice videos btw.

  • @LRASS2009 Thanks for watching friend, and please sub if you have not yet.

  • Nice review. Nice looking pistol. Mine came in a dull nickel finish.

I have one of these for about 9 months now. Shot around 500 rounds. It's OK for a cheap nightstand gun but If I had it to do over again I would have saved up another 100.00 and bought a SW Sigma 9 or 40 cal.

Try a little light grease on the slide rail to eliminate the slide sticking..also if it starts to fail to fire a round..take the firing pin out..clean and grease the walls of the firing pin chamber. It'll keep plinking.

  • @christiedf33 Thanks for watching man. LOL, I also have the Sigma.. which is very under rated as well.. I've only put about 200 or so rounds through it thus far without any issues. Take care friend... I'm about to upload a vid of the new pancake holster i just purchased for this hangun, hope you watch!

  • I bought one of these 2 years back new for $75. Within 100 rounds, the gun jammed 4 times, the chamber indicator stopped working, and it stovepiped 6 times. I became so sick of this gun I sold to a guy at a gun show for $30. I hope yours works better than the one that I got suckered into buying.

  • @Kershawchase I just took it to the range last week-end, i'm making a video today. I had no problems, no jams after several hundred rounds. My only issue is that the slide gets stuck occasionally when you are trying to chamber a round, other than that I was very surprised it did well. Thanks for watching, and please sub if you have not.

  • I started cringing when it looked as though the pistol was pointed directly at his face as he was taking the trigger lock off.

  • @buzywil No, it was not really in my face. I knew that it was unloaded out of the box. I'm very safe with firearms if you watch my channel. Thanks for watching and please sub if you have not.

  • Looking forward to a range report. Thanks for the review.

  • @wajohnso1 Just shot it yesterday, putting up a video tonight. Thanks for watching and please sub if you have not.

  • Tech, a pet peeve of mine is not pointing a gun in my face, whether empty or not. That was scarry just watching it. Nice piece, though.

    D

  • @HusbandandWifeShow I can understand that. But rest assured that all of my weapons are ALWAYS safety checked. I'm probably one of the most safety conscious people on youtube...lol... Thanks for watching the video and I hope things are going well for you guys.

  • how many capacity or bullet your magazine hold i seen some for those nine jamanesz that is 7 and other are 12 shot magazine

  • @ThisTriggaMan Mine is 12 shot magazine. Thanks for watching and please sub if you have not.

  • its good to see someone who knows how to handle a handgun properly...u definately know your stuff....good video man !

  • Great video!

  • @Rook369 Thanks for watching! Sub if you have not already!

  • Just bought one exactly like it at the Southern Gun Show in Lousiana. Went to the range with it today. I was only shooting a target at 10ft, but very accurate from that distance. The only bad thing about the gun is that it jammed a lot. I had at least one jam per magazine. I'd still recommend it though. Just don't use the cheapest bullets you find.

  • @richydoan Thanks for watching. I have not shot it yet...but hopefully i get to the range soon and puts some rounds downrange.

    TGS

  • awesome video..theres hardly any on youtube of this gun..i think its because most gun shops dont carry them

  • @GNut1980 Hey, thanks for watching. I picked this up at a local gun show. Its a very nice looking piece but i have not shot it as of yet.. Hopefully the slide does not come off LOL.. Take care..

    TGS

  • these come in chrome?hope i find one in this finish.....

  • @GNut1980 You probably wont find it in this finish UNLESS you see it at a gun show.. Most people are'nt interested in so called "saturday night specials" but it suits me just fine as long as it is reliable.. We'll see..

    TGS

  • I'm assuming that it is not rated for +P ammo?

  • @Migs4000 Most modern handguns can take the +p ammo and i have not found anything that said this firearm cannot handle +p rated BUT personally i would stick to standard loads. I dont think it would damage the firearm or cause any internal damage but again be careful when using anything BUT standard 9mm rounds. This is a very, very cheap weapon that uses cheap parts so keep that in mind. Hope that helps.

    TGS

  • @TechGunsSportsLOVER

    Yes that does.

I know the Hi-Point's are strong enough to handle +P+ ammo.

On a different note, how strong is the recoil spring? The Hi-Point's use a large slide mass to help counter the recoil, the slide on this is quite slim. What about the safety? Is it a trigger block or a sear block? Sorry to ask so many questions, I can't find this gun anywhere to look at; being a fan of these "Saturday Night Specials" makes me curious of it's overall quality.

  • Just Shoot the crap out of it and keep some Remington Oil Handy hose it down every so often.I run the Gamut when it comes to pistols. I have $1000 guns and I have $100 brand new guns and I have never had a problem with any Jimenez Pistol. Good luck with the Gun and make sure it is a running weapon before you trust your life to it.

  • @DSINKS Thanks for the input. Cant wait to get it on the range.

    TGS

  • @TechGunsSportsLOVER that motha fucka is beautiful lol. I am thinking of getting one at a gun show.

  • @runhorun ive looked for these at my gunshows..no avail...ive seen the other jimenez which i bought a 22 from a show but the closest place in my neck of VA to get these is rcs guns 80 miles north in winchester VA

  • Look forward to the review. Have seen these at gun shows and always thought they looked great for the price...almost too great...made me too nervous to purchase under the "too good to be true" or "you get what you pay for" theories.

  • @TechGunsSportsLOVER

I have never heard about this brand, you have thought me something.

  • @NeptuneBlueZ Thanks for watching sir. I'm glad to be of assistance.

  • One thing about the so called cheap guns. They are made with the age proven and very simple blow back design. They usually always work but they usually don't have a long life if you don't take good care of them. If you do care for them well, they will last and work. IMHO. Great video.

  • @ChromeFreak123 Thanks for watching my friend. Although i've heard over and over and over that these are a POS, i'm anxious to get it to the range and see how it functions.

    TGS

  • @TechGunsSportsLOVER You will have some stove pipes I think. Its the nature of the blow back beast but after a break in period, that should clear up. Keep clean and she will run. Thanks.

  • Love my jimenez 380 i also have lcp an i shoot better with the jimenez then the lcp cuz the jimenez actually has sight on it its never. Had jams or anything , to me its been very reliable

  • @Jtafoya89 Thanks for that input and thanks for watching. I will be shooting this one next week.

    TGS

  • Interested to see how this does. Looks a hell of a lot nicer than a high point! Thanks for sharing.

  • @enscribe Oh yea, this handgun has a great finish, i love the way it looks. Lets hope it performs the way it looks.

    TGS

  • @TechGunsSportsLOVER its suprising what you can make people do when you shoot it in the air and scream, "bitch feed me some scramble eggs and bacon." LOL, jk.

  • @runhorun lol

  • In a moment of weakness and a spare $100 I bought the Jennings Nine (the early Model from Bryco). It works, but lets say its not an everyday carry. The slide also tends to take a bite out of the hand as you shoot it. Long story made short, I still have it and don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon. All guns have a place.

  • @LemaOscarLema Thats a funny way to put it LOLLLLL.... Yea, so lets see how this firearm does at range next week... If its a POS like many say it is, i wont get rid of it , just will lock it up somewhere never to be seen or heard from again.. ha...

    TGS

  • cool hope it works good let us know also just an observation man at 2:56 messing with trigger and having gun pointed right at your head then you safety check at 3:51

thanks for the review also a good gun for under $300 and 9mm is the keltech pf9 you might want to check that one out also late

  • @phx1321 LOL, thanks for watching dude. I'm probably one of the safest weapons handlers on youtube... I knew the weapon was not loaded from the beginning. It was truly an "unboxing", really first time i handled the weapon. But its always important to clear the weapon anyway, so thanks for the observation... I will take a look at the keltec pf9.. take care..

    TGS

  • @TechGunsSportsLOVER cool man yah think you might like the pf9

  • My grandpa has one of those (Im his 16 year old Airsofting Grandson). And He seemed very pleased with it, the only thing he said is that his was dry?? Im not much into realsteel firearms because Its to loud for me. But I was posting this for him. -AoA Unicorn & Grandfather.

  • @AllegianceOfArms Thanks little friend for posting this. Tell your grandfather i'm going to take this to the range next week and do some filming there, i will let you guys know how it goes. I've heard very bad things about this weapon, but I want to see for myself how it shots.

  • You Americans are CRAZY! LOL!

  • @unlokia How am I crazy dear sir?

    Good Luck with the Jimenez...

    Seeya bro

    Dude

  • @80spodcastchannel I've already heard the stories.... And i've heard its a piece of junk. But i want to at least put a 100 rounds through it see how many jams, misfeeds etc.. i get... I assume you've already shot one? If so let me know what to expect... Its funny as heck how you put it though... LOL...

    TGS

  • @TechGunsSportsLOVER Dude...the precursor to Jimenez buying sued into bankruptcy Bryco Arms...Jimenez was a foreman who got a half millionj and bought the palce and moved it from california to NEVADA...still a POS and wouldnt wish for one to be in my gun closet, but it IS a gun.

good luck on the first 100...hope you both survive unharmed...LOL

    Seeya bro

    Dude

  • @80spodcastchannel Yea, some of that story i've heard.... Ive heard that after they moved from cali to nev.. that they somewhat improved quality... but thats good information that i did not know... I will pray before i go to the range that it does not blow in my hands... .LOL

    TGS

  • Never seen one of these! Will you be doing a range vid with this? Good luck hope she shoots good for Yinz!!

  • @Lookinformemarbles i'll be at the range early next week. Thanks for watching!!! Take it easy
