In all fairness, it's quite possible that they could release HD Frostbite remakes of 1942, 1943 and 2142, but they are probably working on something far more important, if the cheeky little 2143 easter egg in the B2K dlc is anything to go by.

I prefer Battlefield 2 over 1942. Its funny cause, when you played the game, the last thing that would come to your mind were the graphics. When you played these games, it was about the actual fight and not how the graphics were. Even if they were great at the time. Battlefield 3 might just suck compared to the gameplay on 1942 or bf2.
