The Wrecker was a good book, and right now I'm reading The Chase, also a good book. I have Cresent Dawn, but I haven't been able to get into that book like I have the other two.
I am a huge Cussler fan and have read almost all his books. The Oregon series is my favorite.Haven't read any of the Isaac Bell books. Are they as good as the NUMA,Dirk Pitt or Oregon series?Have you read James Rollins?
@kfilmz24fan I happen to enjoy them. It's a little bit more difficult to picture the Isaac Bell novels because it's all old fashioned, but there is still a good amount of action in them. In my opinion, Dirk Pitt will never be beaten, but Isaac Bell is good if you are looking for a different style.
Clive is my favorite author of all time. I find his books very exciting. I'm glad that my dad introduced me to him. At first I was like "Ehh, I'm not much of a reader." But now my parents say if I'm not gaming I'm reading one of his books. XD
what are this guys books about mostly? I notice a boat on the cover of a lot of them. i just picked up Valhalla Rising and the only reason i wanted to start to find out more about this guy is because i just read Tom Clancy's new book Dead Or Alive and it was awesome but it talked about on the back flap about how clive and grant blackwood coauthored a few books together.
@DixiePrepper Yes I have Clancy's new book and noticed that Blackwood was on it. Cussler writes for the most part all stories of the sea or naval (however some can exclude water altogether. Mix naval with Indiana Jones and I would say that is basically a Clive Cussler formula for book writing. There are a few series of books, if you look in Valhalla you will likely see a page with the different series. (Dirk Pitt, Numa Files, Oregon Files, etc).
@BurgundysFinest very cool! thanks for the reply. I just started reading Valhalla last night and its alright so far, i think im definitely going to get his new book the next time i go to costco
how long do you need to read one book ?:-/... i think i am too slow to read so many of him but i made it to the phenomenal count of five books -.- in 1 year

Clive Cussler is a good author but he isn't as good as Stephen King, Dean Koontz, or James Patterson but still a good author.
