Woods - It's about the reasons why the economy tanked in 2008. "The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Great Depression and the New Deal by Robert Murphy - Self explanatory.

Mostly loved this! The one problem was the food segment. I always go with science, as the best means of knowing that humans have, and irradiating food is safe and effective, and genetic modification is more precise than traditional crossbreeding techniques while still being at least as safe. (I would agree that corporate control of the food supply, and lack of transparency about their tech, is a problem to be tackled.)
I was a Libertarian for a time about 30 years ago. Then the more I dealt with Libertarians, the more I realized just how insane they were. I've had NUMEROUS Libertarians explain to me why pedophilia should be legal, and why date rape should be legal. And then I've heard their crazy conspiracy theories about how Pearl Harbor was set up by the US Govt., and 911 was a CIA plot and many other crazy stories.

I always go with science, as the best means of knowing that humans have, and irradiating food is safe and effective, and genetic modification is more precise than traditional crossbreeding techniques while still being at least as safe. (I would agree that corporate control of the food supply, and lack of transparency about their tech, is a problem to be tackled.)

I was a Libertarian for a time about 30 years ago. Then the more I dealt with Libertarians, the more I realized just how insane they were. I've had NUMEROUS Libertarians explain to me why pedophilia should be legal, and why date rape should be legal. And then I've heard their crazy conspiracy theories about how Pearl Harbor was set up by the US Govt., and 911 was a CIA plot and many other crazy stories.
I probably agree with 80% of libertarian ideas, the rest are INSANE!!!!

Have you ever heard of an ectopic pregnancy? that is when an egg is fertilized and begins to develop outside of the uterus. In many cases this ends up being in the fallopian tubes. If the baby continues to grow it could rupture the fallopian tube causing great pain and could very well kill the mother and the baby. That must be a perfect world for you?

Would you force them to go through with that pregnancy knowing that she may very well give birth prematurely and that baby may die. The HIGHEST teenage pregnancy rates are in the deep south, where there are no sex-ed programs, no condoms issued, and very few places to get abortions. If this is your idea of ending abortions, it's working. Meanwhile, ending poverty is an ongoing project. We haven't gotten there yet.
