I just watched this guy in concert last nite!!!! Amazing!!! We waited fucking long for him to come. Out of the blue, not in the setlist, he sang acapella this song, part of it and I cried coz I was hoping he would sing it. Everybody sang to this. His voice is still INCREDIBLE!!!

I thought the Coverdale/Page CD was amazing. I came to it as a Jimmy fan, and of course I wasn't let down - great guitar playing, awesome sound...but I was really surprised by Coverdale's voice. When he wasn't straining for the higher notes and worked the middle/lower registers, he was incredibly good...amazing tone and feeling and style.
