its retarted to take all this crap. if you want to work out just work out. if you dont want to work out you will get fat. if you take this crap it doesnt really matter too much. a multi vitamin is good. the rest is a waste of money if you eat good quality foods
Question - why do you the omega pills have Omega-6? I thought our (Americans) diet already had a ratio of Omega 6 to 3 that was too high....Just curious. Thanks.
Hello coach, I just received the P90X program and I’ve watched countless videos these last couple of days about P90X and the best supplements to go with it, but I’m not quite sure WHEN exactly to take these supplements. I’ve heard about taking a the pre and post workout shakes, also to take one for breakfast, and one before going to bed, etc etc. So if you could shed some light here on the “right time” to take these shakes I’d appreciate it. Thank you.
@car6441 if you take jack3d or n.o xplode take it 30 min before your workout! jack3d is an amazing product. as for protein shakes i take one in the morning, on after my workout and one before bed
Great overview. Flaxseed is also good to sprinkle in food like grains or over salad for an added boost of Omega 3s and fiber. You can find organic golden flax in bulk bins at health food stores for about $1.99 lb.
I also use BSN products, usually just Syntha-6 (love the added fiber), will stay away from NO-Xplode. :p
@fitnessfocused Flaxseed is great to have in salads, i haven't had a chance to go to a health store in a while but plan on going in the next 2 weeks. BSN does make very good products, but if you need a good protein powder - ON makes great flavors!
you are doing this kinda wrong.. shakeology contains all vitamins and stuff you need so you definately dont need a vitamin pill.. and you dont really need all the other powders when you have the recovery drink.. the only thing you are missing is l-glutamine, which is the most important thing besides creatine
