I absolutely loved Sanctum when I first arrived here. I spent quite a few hours exploring the city and talking to every NPC. Very enjoyable. I have to say that I was strongly reminded of Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden from Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep. All in all, wonderful game!
i like the asmo side more, sanctum is a big 'generic big city' feel while pandemonium looks mroe natural and the brighter colors against the darker sky stand out more, giving you plent of 'ohhh and ahhh' moments.
Understandable point then, can't blame you for feeling bored of it and wanting a change, we all have different tastes, if only the Aion hater-fanboyism would realise that eh ;)
yes you can. they are called Rifts. they appear every two hours in certain locations in each zone (i think there are only 2 zones that they dont appear in, and the starter zones)
Do you think I can have as good an experience if I go with the dark race? So far, the light race looks so much cooler, but I want to be dark... I hope I won't miss out by choosing the Fallen...

Erm...I actually think you can, through portals. I've seen some Asmodians Ganking Elysians in Elysian lands.
