We stayed in Hilary's Cottage for 2 weeks in Dec 2011 and were disappointed. Don't see how it got 4 stars - it felt more like 2 to us. Location was nice and it was warm and dry but the decor needs a serious overhaul. There is peeling paint and mould on the walls. It sleeps 6 but there is only seating for 3/4 in the small living room. The garden is not dog proof as was claimed by the owners. We were given a luke warm welcome. The Welcome Book is little more than a list of rules we had to follow.
