You are right. There are many Japanese songs that were translated into Chinese. When Vietnamese translated those songs, they believe those songs are Chinese originally but they are wrong. For example, one of my most favorite song is 真夏の果実 by SOUTHERN ALL STARS, a Japanese band. I believed Jacky Cheung sang this song in Chinese but he was not the original singer. There are many songs that Vietnamese love that are originally from Japan but we don't know that.
