I always loved Leo Buscaglia. I recently gave a New copy of Love to a friend whom I've always carried in my heart and after 34 years regained contact with. Although, I was pained when I last saw her then, I still love her and the giving of the book is a perfect gift.

You're assuming I'm not familiar with his books and lectures. I am, that 's why I think we could use him now--he'd know how to put a few in their places where they belong, just for openers.  His creativity would go a long way for the problems of today.

He did contribute quite a bit as it was. He left us with many books, gave many lectures, and was a professor at a well known and respected University in Los Angeles, which I understand had a waiting list of hundreds. He was truly a great man.

Kathy, do you have or do you know how to get that talk where he says something like, "i bring my students to see children who are abused and one child who had his hand cut off, and they ask, "who are these people who do this thing to them?" and I am a tough teacher, and I say , "WE ARE!!! we are those because we fail to love...........etc. This guy made me cry always. I loved him though I never met him. what a great man. I am so sad that he died.

for their subjects. It is a pity that few people know

about this precious man and the message he wanted to

I have never met him, but judging from his work, he was a GREAT man who did so much good for so many. Not enough can ever be said about what we can learn and use from his energy and insights, if that made sense. Every human should watch him on video.
