The only problem with buying them on ebay is if you try and buy an OEM apple one for $40, they will have gone through 100's of charge cycles, which renders them useless. And if they are only $40, they are probably poorly made and can possibly damage the computer if the voltage is not correct. We will check though! Thanks so much for the tip
oic... well its good you know about the downsides! you definitely want one thats going to last, especially if you will be out of country. make sure you have a voltage converter with you when you go so you dont blow out the computer when you're there... i blew up my hairdryer in Israel :-( at least it wasn't a computer.
