What an insane game. Leafs deserved that.

I'm a Leaf fan, and personally I don't think we did. Our defensive game was a mess, and that's unacceptable for us. I'm glad we won though.

Oh cmon! For the entire first period we were in their end. The rare few times they managed to cross into our end, they got a few in. We constantly put pressure on them, through out all 3 periods. I've never seen the Leafs forecheck that well. Ever. Not only that, but we managed to get 5 past one of the best goalies in the history of the NHL.

We did more than enough to deserve this win!

Our defensive coverage was a mess. Our forechecking was fantastic, but as a defensive team that is most likely going to stuggle offensively for most of the season, that kind of coverage isn't acceptable. I'm not the type of person that likes messy shinny in the NHL. I have an appreciation for strong, structured hockey, and we weren't playing that kind of hockey against New Jersey.

what a shootout goal for Hagman i think the snow showers to brodeur was a distrackions but i was a good goal those

the puck was shot and pretty much in the net when brodeur got snowed on...all in all good game and nice goal by hagman
