  • Good Player.

  • I remember manning the fourth MG42 when I first played this level and it's a nightmare so I skipped that part. I have now tried again and with the same result... the MG42 is not very effective and hardly any Germans are killed, I resorted to using the Gewehr instead and with some success but I usually get killed, as you say there are about 20 odd Germans and I find it difficult to kill them all. This part seems far more difficult (on easy) than other levels in which I achieve Gold using normal.

  • @Joeloflunik I may have exaggerated when I said that fourth gun alone has twenty enemies, but there are at least a dozen. You may have to check and see if you missed any more on the other guns. Generally, the way to test how many are left is to man and unman the gun repeatedly, firing off a few shots each time. Staying on the gun the whole time is recommended, but if that is too difficult to do, just do like I said. You may have to wait a few seconds before enemies appear. It's a bit tricky.

  • @spicyechidna94 I managed to get a Gold (at last!) but it took 30 minutes to do. I take on board what you say about the fourth gun, the problem is that the gun does not appear to be very effective and although I fire away only a handful of Germans are killed, they are difficult to spot because they disappear behind the trenches, I find that the Gewehr is more effective but it's still very difficult to kill the enemy. I will try your suggestion and fire off a few shots at a time, thanks again.

  • @spicyechidna94 I forgot to mention that I did kill all of the enemy and did not miss any (before the fourth gun), the answer to obtaining a Gold is the extra dozen or so that are killed by using the fourth gun (you are right it's not twenty but about a dozen), the enemies killed on my Gold run was 102 compared to about 89-90 on previous runs when I did not use the fourth gun and only got a Bronze, it now seems obvious. Problem solved and thanks for the guidance, appreciated.

  • @Joeloflunik I'm glad I could help. :D

  • Hi, this is the only level where I can't achieve Gold, in fact I usually get a Bronze. This is strange because I eliminate most of the enemy (I kill about 79-85 Nazis), I say most because when I use the MG42 on normal (your vid 2.33-3.35) a rogue Nazis manages to kill me, he is firing from the balcony of the radar station, I noticed on your vid that he does not appear. On easy I'm OK but I still get a Bronze, my health does go into the red sometimes but I finish with full health. Any ideas?

  • @Joeloflunik Oh, I think I know. There are well over a hundred enemies in this level, so you must have missed quite a few by accident. It's been a while since I have played this, but I I remember having to man all four MG42 emplacements to get a gold medal. Several enemies spawn for each of them and you have to stay on the guns until there aren't any left, or at least stay near the gun and man it every once in a while while shooting at enemies.

  • @spicyechidna94 I man only three MG42's...if you look at your vid (Part 2) there are a couple of comments similar to mine, players are saying that they only achieve a Bronze despite killing all of the enemy. In your part 2 video you miss the fourth MG42 (in the bunker) and so do I...it never occured to me to man the gun, maybe then this is the answer, I will give it another go and let you know if I get a Gold (or even Silver!). By not manning the fourth MG42 did you get a Gold?

  • @Joeloflunik I think I just forgot to record the part where I manned the fourth MG42. Well, either that or I just did not want to record it. I see exactly what you mean. I vaguely remember assuming that manning the fourth MG42 would be boring to watch, so I manned that one before recording. It takes FOREVER to kill the twenty-odd Germans who spawn there. I indeed manned it either way, though.

I'm sorry for not recording that. Manning all four MGs will get you a gold medal, though.

  • I have for all levels a gold medal

really great game! Cool Video, I played this level very slow, 'cause won't die in game xD

  • i remember playing this game thinking this is the shit but now that i see it this is shit

  • @mysteryman1606 It's still the shit, in my opinion. :D

  • i used cheats so i could have fun and i still have the book for the cheats

  • 0:59 Why you go back to the machine gun ? XD

And this level is really hard. Thanks for the video.I make use of it

  • @JESSE75946 It helps me get a gold medal. Manning an MG42 usually spawns a wave of enemies who contribute to the criteria of getting one of those.

  • this level gave me neightmares.. took me like half a year to beet

  • this level is very, very hard

    nice video

  • Thanks! :D

  • I remembered when I was a lot younger I could never beat this game and I think it's cause of that 1 level where I think it's called "Minefields" and I lost a crapload of life and it pretty much put me in a bad situation for this level. I don't remember which part I died so many times.

Now I'm more experienced in FPS games, hopefully I could actually beat this game without cheating..So far I haven't died at all and Im on the bridge level.

  • For me, this entire set of final levels is nothing short of unforgiving. Starting with only 12 pistol bullets, you must destroy a heavily guarded jet aircraft facility in the heart of Germany... completely alone. Oh, and if you don't hurry, the allies will bomb you. Thanks, guys, that makes me feel loved. Yes, Enemy Mine was also quite unforgiving, and getting out of there with decent health requires practice. It doesn't help that this level is very long and brutal. Good times.

  • I've just done this mission again and as I said before I'm OK up until the second radar station but after that I struggle a bit....I'd forgotten how hard it is! (your vid from 7.02 onwards). I always have probs with those MG nests and was surprised to see that you use the Gewehr, I usually throw a couple of grenades and/or use the Bazooka, I did use the Gewehr once but got shot (numerous times) by the MG's, I will try the Gewehr again...later.

  • Those bunkers are hard to take on... If you don't get a bead on them before they get on those gun emplacements, they'll cause a lot of pain and suffering. I use the sniper rifle because I can take them out before they can man the guns.

  • I tried the sniper rifle again and yes much better...taking the Germans out before they man the MG's is way better, I manged to get through it without losing much health.

    Cheers

  • @spicyechidna94

Actually... 3:32 You Can Hear It Clearly :P

  • I found this one relatively easy up until the 2nd Radar station...difficult that, especially the MG nests...got there in the end though but it took about 3-4 attempts, got a gold as well which is remarkable really, mind you it did take me about 45 mins to complete. Spent a lot of time crouching and going back for health on this one. Not as hard as Clipping their Wings though.

  • I feel the same way. Ultimately not as difficult as Clipping Their Wings, but there is still a lot of backtracking for health. Of course, when I first played this, I died about 20 times before I passed it with a gold medal, but that was a while ago... It's still an awesome mission, though.

  • Yeah the thing is though I could never do this in under about 20 minutes and that's using the easy option...I tried normal and died within about five minutes! I have now got the hang of grenades and took your advice and leave the cook option on...it's much better now as the grenades explode where I want them to. I will try normal again soon as I am now slightly better end more experienced in the games. I've got Stealing the Show mission down to 12 mins from 18 so I'm getting better. JOL

  • Hey does anyone know if the xbox version workes on the 360? comment me back I MUST KNOW!!!

  • Is GOTHA the name of the facility, air base or does it stand for something?

  • its a german town

  • Excellent grenade throwing (0:11) (0:14

  • Thank you! I have praticed it a lot. :D

  • @spicyechidna94

2:58, Theres This Music I Think Thats Epic, Do You Know The Name Of It? :D

  • I believe it is called "Clipping Their Wings". I don't really know why, considering that this is Under the Radar, but that's what it's called. Even so, this IS some really epic music right here.

  • 5:00 <-- what a bloodly scene lol i did notice that he's Luftwaffe

i never walked out of the house at 7:25 since the enemy in the bunker all attacked and came for the house so fiercely that everytime i lost all health and failed for the mission..

actually before it i had already lost countless health^^

i never saw the scenes from 7:40 and of course, i never passed this mission

  • This was a brutal mission. It took a while for me to finish this mission, but I eventually just memorized where every enemy was, and then it became passable. You'll eventually get it. :D

  • no i won't :(

actually my ps2 can't load that game any more cause it's been too old and too dusty

i had bought the MOHEA 2 years ago and MOHRS 4 years ago, any kind of PS2 game including the above had already been unable to play

hey i remembered that before this round there is a "little train travel"

did you have that gameplay clips?

  • I see... That is pretty unfortunate. As for the traincar ride through the mine, that video is called Medal of Honor: Frontline Enemy Mine (PS2), or you could just look through my videos on my channel.

  • i had noticed it couples of days ago

it's like indian jones and it's full of fun

oh do you have a wii by the way i'm going to buy one more MOH game Vanguard or Heroes 2 to play in these summer holidays ^^

    what's your comments?

  • Nah, I'm more of a PlayStation person myself. I've played Vanguard and it was a decent game, but not nearly as good as Frontline. MOH: Heroes 2 is on the PSP, but since I don't have one, I'll have to either skip it or wait for a PS2 port.

  • get heroes 2 way better a.i. storyline and multyplayer

  • What the difficulty?

  • Normal. All of my MOHF videos are played on the Normal difficulty setting.

  • They hould make a movie ased of theis game, it haves a great storyline! (sorry for i comment on so many of your videos!)

  • That would have been awesome! If a movie about one of the first four MOHs (MOH, MOHU, MOHAA, or MOHF), then it would likely have been entertaining since Steven Spielberg created this game among other WWII movies. Ah, if only...

  • wow you are bad with that sniper

  • ... Bad as in "really good", or bad as in "truly awful"? Either way, I hadn't played the game in a while when I recorded this, so that explains why a miss a bit more then usual. So, um, thanks?

  • I fell through the floor at the first radar by the hills!

  • What level is after arkham Knights?

  • On Track. Or, more specifically, Medal of Honor: Frontline On Track Part 1 (PS2).

I also have a MOHF playlist on my channel.
