(i am also a marcher) and each individual has to feel the beat and move with everyone else. a band is not what u betray on tv....band is family and we all look out for each other to make it a good show for u all to enjoy....so i respect this band like all the others great job for the hard work becuz when ur on that field ur in another world and all that hard work pays off !!!=D

the music is so dull and cliche...not the most interesting music...all this new age marching music sounds about the same...it just doesnt really fly, it all now sounds like cheesy, amateur film music or tv commercials...the band perform and executes this show extremely well. That is apparent...the visual program is perhaps the most amazing...just ashame such a beautifully performing and sounding group couldnt have something a little more serious and meatier to perform. Its dull as enya.

I have to disagree, just cause you have great students and teachers doesn't mean you will have a fantastic show. Its the hard work and dedication that we (marcher myself: Clear Brook high school) put into our shows that makes our shows great. Lets take any expample, say football, alot of football teams have great players but they dont always win do they? no. I have to say its the unapproachable dedication that us marchers put into these fabulous shows that make them great.

You hit it right on the nail. Yea our marching band has a good teacher but has some students that dont give a hoot and marching band. I think its kinda stupid they say that they joined marching band to get in the football games for free. yea ummm marching band, you pay fees and stuff. A football game cost $6. How stupid are you? lol but yea it takes a combination of the two along with the dedication to have a good marching band. Our band lacks dedication which made us 5th out of 7 in our class.

Yups observant. Its Jupiter from The Planets Suite. Planets Suite is definitely written before 2003. Just that it may not be the same version as that performed by Cinco Ranch in 2004.

@labitx The Planets was completed by Gustav Holst in 1916. Just a bit before 2003 ;). The Cavaliers 1995 show is a great rendition of it, check it out.

I have to say that Reagan High School has a pretty amazing marching band. I saw them perform live when our band competed at BOA. The sax solo at the beginning is good, but Tomball High School had an even more amazing soprano soloist that played for a whole movement in their show.
