Scourge is Nemesis Prime. Nemesis Prime was made from Optimus Prime's spark. Just like Scourge was.

See Scourage was already his own robot, or would have been, if Megatron didn't grab his stasis protoform pod and accidentally scan Optimus too, so Scourge or Black Convoy is only PART Optimus. Nemesis is a full clone from a dead Optimus, and in some iterations he's WAS Optimus before he personally matured, but got corrupted and driven insane by Unicron

It depends on the line. Both Black Convoy and Scourge are from the Laser Rod Optimus mold. Scourge was a proton from that Megatron had and scanned a tanker truck - problem is Optimus was in the way so both were scanned that is why he looks like Optimus by the head. Black Convoy is just a different same... its the same bot.  But Nemesis Prime, the character is a different dude.

1. Scourge was the American dubbed name for Black convoy during RiD

2. After Scourge's intro in RiD- Hasbro saw the fan appeal for Evil Primes and started calling them Nemesis Prime - or in Japan Nemesis Convoy or Black Convoy. It could be said Scourge is the FIRST Nemesis Prime after a fashion

3. The symbols on the shoulders are intentionally upside down G2 autobot insignias

the naming confusion lol. As far as the names, in Japan 'Nemesis Prime' or in this case 'Scourge' was said as 'Black Convoy'. It was after the R.I.D. series I believe they started referring to any black colored Optimus figure as Nemesis Prime after the evil clone of Optimus appeared in an episode of Transformers Armada. And as far as the actual figure, it's a repaint of an earlier Optimus Prime toy. It really fits and I love this toy. :)

Right having picked up, RID Scourge a little while ago or rather Black Convoy as he known in Japan, he is a repaint of G2 Optimus prime toy.

His gun can be stored in vehicle mode within his trailer in the same place as you attach it for base mode.

Scourge also kicked off the whole Black Optimus prime repaint thing as Ultra magnus from G1 kicked off the white repaints.

Besides, he a frickin cool toy, one of the best ever made and one of the best repaints to date
