Getting the peepin eye soul isn't that hard. Just go to that discovered area left from the peeping eye, and go in and out and kill the peeping eye again and again. You will get the soul quickly!

An easy way to get the peeping eye soul is to when you can kill the peeping eye in one hit enter the hidden room behind it, enter the prevous room barely, and attack the peeping eye soul and immediately enter the hidden area again, and rapidly repeat the process until the peeping eye gives you its soul. It's best if you increase your luck as much as currently possibly.

Depends on your luck. In Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow (it's just as hard to get the peeping eye soul in that game) I got it off of the second one I fought. It is a lot easier with the Black Panther soul.

Yes, they stop counting at 9 but they keep counting after that. However, unless your using the Head Hunter soul, you don't need more then 1 of a soul.
