You seriously are just like me. Freshman year sucks, sophomore year was terrible. I always got along with my friends and stuff, but I stopped caring about everything too. I was also really depressed. Failed English when I used to be in honors! With online school I got my life back together

I've learned alot of things in the past 2 years and honestly, besides the occasional homework.. It's enjoyable. I love being in a class with my friends in drama and theater and acting.

The education system is different to the U.S. (we just have two big exams,one at 15, the Junior Cert and one at 18, the Leaving Cert)I really wish I had the oppurtunity to do online schooling. I go to a self-paced school and if I was actually good at math I would have graduated on time. I only need 2.5 more credits for math and then I'm done completely. Hopefully I can graduate this year. High school can be very tough, but don't throw your life away because of it. In a few years none of that is going to matter anyway.

I was homeschooled too, back in the day before online school. I graduated two years earlier than I would have as a regular student and I loved it. So I'm glad you made this video. No, it's not for everyone and you do have to have a lot of self-discipline to do it, but its so worth it. :) So I agree.

I can graduate early too. I go to Virginia Beach Public Schoools btw. I can get the advanced diploma with a governors seal. I can graduate with a 4.2 GPA. This sounds so much better than the current public school system i'm in atm. I just feel like learning isn't being the main factor in the decisions made by the schools. Seems like their test grades are much more important than actually knowing the material your supposed to be "learning". All in all, the public school system is broken.
Well, I dropped out of school at 14yo and started working for my dad's company in an apprentiship program. When I was 18 was a cerified tool & die maker but my dad's shop went out of business and could not get a job because I had no HS deploma. I joinded the millitary and attended an adult HS in San Diego and recieve a REAL HS Deploma. I got into UTK and applied for their engineering program. I was on a one year probation but with hard work and good grades I was accepted. I have a BSME now.
the problem with online schooling is that it won't get you into any prestigious colleges or universities anywhere (harvard, Yale Princeton). That's when highschool has it's advantages, it'll most likely be accredited if it's a decent hs and u have the marks but with online schooling there's like a 0% chance of getting into an academic program (medicine, law, engineering...)
i was planning on maybe doing that k12 online school but i just needed to see that it actually did work for people & im so happy that you made this video.

Anyway, I wanted to know if students have to go to school 2-3 days a year like other online school programs? This sounds so much better than the current public school system i'm in atm. I just feel like learning isn't being the main factor in the decisions made by the schools. Seems like their test grades are much more important than actually knowing the material your supposed to be "learning". All in all, the public school system is broken.

Well, I dropped out of school at 14yo and started working for my dad's company in an apprentiship program. When I was 18 was a cerified tool & die maker but my dad's shop went out of business and could not get a job because I had no HS deploma. I joinded the millitary and attended an adult HS in San Diego and recieve a REAL HS Deploma. I got into UTK and applied for their engineering program. I was on a one year probation but with hard work and good grades I was accepted. I have a BSME now.

the problem with online schooling is that it won't get you into any prestigious colleges or universities anywhere (harvard, Yale Princeton). That's when highschool has it's advantages, it'll most likely be accredited if it's a decent hs and u have the marks but with online schooling there's like a 0% chance of getting into an academic program (medicine, law, engineering...)

i didnt even make it to highschool... i've always hated school in elementary i missed aton of days then in jr high thinsg got more strict i missed to many days in 7th so i tryd homeschooling that didnt work i went back to school in 8th grade same thing happened then for 9th i tryd online schooling and i couldnt handle it i didnt do work like i was suppose to and before i knew it there was way to much work to do and i dropped out of that and because of everything with school i lost all my friends

In Ireland, we finish school as early as 16, depending on when we started school. I'll be 17 leaving. Wish we had that online school stuff over here. It'd be so much easier. Great video :)

I guarantee i went threw way more shit in my first 2 years of highschool, literally guarantee it. And i would never take antidepressants. Mainly because they are prescribed to easily and LIFE must change, and sometimes only you can do that. No offense, i like you and your videos, but your so fucking a teenager. lol Anyways im gonna do online school in my senior year next year, was going to before when i was in a similar situation to you, but i wouldnt be able to concentrate back then. omg.! im in the same exact situation as youre in(or was in)lol.it took me soo much to convince my dad to let me do this online high school thingy. the reason i wanna do try it out is cause i dont work well with the other noobs in my class.specially the guys theyre so slow & sometimes even the teachers act stupid. -__- thats so awesome that ur gonna graduate as a junior.! Whenever I say I want to take online courses everyone looks down upon me saying I wont succeed, I'll put aside all my work.. I wont get anywhere.. :| I go to a school full of Asians and .. like middle eastern .. languages. I experience soo much racism and the fact that they've molted there perfect person, and you know how white people tend to dress.. differently than all this christian audiger bs.. this is inspiring me but I'm afraid of how angry people will be towards me..
