This is NOT a game, but it is a pretty damn good simulation of a real guitar. I like the fact that this can replicate real guitar sound so well, for those that cannot afford to buy a real guitar. Pointless? Do you play guitar? If so, tell me of all the times you wanted to take a guitar somewhere, but couldn't for whatever reason. However, I would rather have an iPod Touch with the guitar app, because it's just a fretboard and you aren't limited to whatever chords.
hi. to answer your question, yeah, i've been playing for about 5 years now. usually im not that highstrung (if thats a word : ) with playing guitar, i play about 2-5 hrs. a day so i get my fill. and if i havent played in so long that i'm having withdrawls (which rarely happens), i would prepare ahead of time and bring my travel Martin, so... yeah.
BTW: i have a iPod Touch too (and the guitar app.), and yeah, its pretty cool, a time killer to say the least : )
Listen. I play real guitar, and let me tell you this: This game would spare you the pain. For the whole first 2 months I was learning guitar, my fingers were in constant pain.

the 4 diagonals are chord buttons as ell, and if you hold the L button down, the chord template is replaced with another chord template. 4 arrows, 4 diagonals, 4 L arrows, and 4 L diagonals. :)

Pointless? Do you play guitar? If so, tell me of all the times you wanted to take a guitar somewhere, but couldn't for whatever reason. However, I would rather have an iPod Touch with the guitar app, because it's just a fretboard and you aren't limited to whatever chords.

hi. to answer your question, yeah, i've been playing for about 5 years now. usually im not that highstrung (if thats a word : ) with playing guitar, i play about 2-5 hrs. a day so i get my fill. and if i havent played in so long that i'm having withdrawls (which rarely happens), i would prepare ahead of time and bring my travel Martin, so... yeah.
BTW: i have a iPod Touch too (and the guitar app.), and yeah, its pretty cool, a time killer to say the least : )

Listen. I play real guitar, and let me tell you this: This game would spare you the pain. For the whole first 2 months I was learning guitar, my fingers were in constant pain.

That would be nice if you could play more than 4 chords per song. Apparently all songs only have 4 chords.

you can play up to 16 chords per song.
the 4 diagonals are chord buttons as ell, and if you hold the L button down, the chord template is replaced with another chord template. 4 arrows, 4 diagonals, 4 L arrows, and 4 L diagonals. :)

Taiko No Tatsujin. Search for it here on YouTube. You'll probably end up seeing the Japanese arcade version, but if you get DS mod, you can DL the DS one and play it.
