@1tontomato Nah, it should become OTT ALWAYS when the motion is sequentially correct from the ground up. OTT is the most desired move provided a golfer can deliver the sweetspot from the inside. T
this is only the second video of yours i have viewed, There is genius in your work sir!, making the complicated and difficult to see understandable and clear. i have argued the merits of subtle ott action combined with appropriate delivery with my mentor. Despite being an avid hogan scholar himself he is strict about a one plane swing concept which does not recognise ott as a worthy move in golf. i am even more certain now that ott can be worked with to produce the goods. cheers
@learn4perspective Thank you very much for kind words. Yes, I feel what to say because met the golf instruction resistance not only once. They simply deny (purposedly or not) to see the big picture. When one sees the big picture, some conclusions are so easy to find that's scary.
Thanks Darius, another wonderful clip, your insight to the golf swing is without peer. As I have stated on other clips. Why reinvent the wheel when we had these masters to emulate; especially the true master Ben Hogan.
@gmbtempe Great questions. I doubt if I am qualified enough to answer them, however, one thing that I feel deep inside is that one of Mr.Hogan's true secrets was to find a biophysical way to put the body in an ideal hitting position as early as possible. We, mortals cannot even dream of the EEP quality similar to Hogan's one but IMHO, if the shaft starts to be in line with the rear forearm while the rear humerus still is being supported by the main body (and not too much in front) is OK.
"if the shaft starts to be in line with the rear forearm while the rear humerus still is being supported by the main body (and not too much in front) is OK." How do we best go about getting this to happen?
@goathumper111 Thanks. The simplest answer I can give is thatnks to proper sequentiality of the whole motion from the ground up. Hips cannot be quicker than feet, especially rear hip. Watch the SPC concept vid.
It becomes OTT if you don't begin with the hips first. Otherwise, let it rip!

Right on Darius,
Do you have anything on the clubhead arc of the EEP? How early is early?
