Hey, I dont have the HDV settings on my video settings :( How do i get them? I use sony vegas movie studio. Please help, i have a collab due in a day and i HAVE to render it in HD :S
I have been wondering this for a while; what is this difference between the "Render" action and the "Make Movie" action? Both seem to do the same thing on my Vegas, but there's got to be a reason they have the two of them there separately. Is there anything one does differently from the other?
yes i think it will still be HD. it might not be 100% HD. but if its your sound your worried about, then it shouldnt affect your sound just the picture.
I Hope This Isn't An Stupid Question But How Is This(Tutorial Video) Uploaded In HQ Yet Has No Bars Like HD? And Thanks For The Vid I Reallyyy Appreciate It =] Keep Up The Good Work Everyone!
I think it depends on the clips, I think. For example, when you're working with a movie, the size of it is smaller, so the file itself has the 2 bars in it. In other clips and stuff, it doesn't :)
the bars. wont show up when it is uploaded on youtube.. the bars was just to explain the difference in how they look in the preview box. this video did have black bars in the preview box in vegas but once its uploaded to youtube those bars go away. =D
well i just said to the person below you.. im not really sure. each is good i guess.
i use HQ because - it renders faster. and - when i watch others videos i rarely ever watch in HD so i think its kind of a waste for me to do it. - and they are also very big files. but you could just try HD once and see how you like it. i think its just preference :)
HD is very clear and makes your HQ clips look great. thats what i think.
Thank you so much for this. I have one question though. When rendering in HQ or HD, which one is the best to use....? Which of them will get the best end result?
1. it renders faster. and 2. when i watch others videos i rarely ever watch in HD so i think its kind of a waste for me to do it. but i think on certain occasions its good to use HD. and 3. they are also very big files. but you could just try HD once and see how you like it. i think its just preference... :) im glad i could help :]

I have sony vegas 8.0 and it wont allow me to use the HD settings when I render.

I figure since yours is older it will work.
