  • 4 tie raps... oh, so generous. You're a fucking rip off. Charging a crazy price for a damn plastic case.

  • LOOOOOOOOOL $100+ for a freaking iPhone mount? Hahaha

  • I was SOLD on this case - even at $120 until you showed me Zip Ties to secure it to the bike. You've got to be kidding me? You put all of that R&D into what seems to be a top-notch case design just to fail at the actual mount. Not on my Mountain Bike...

  • does the speaker still work when in the case?

  • Just purchased the new extender battery. Very nice design. I also like the beefier mounting hardware that came along with it. I still wish you would ditch the single screw between the two pieces for something more durable. But the battery is very well designed and it's nice that the battery is also water and shock resistent.. No more worries about the longer rides.

  • I did a 35 mile ride yesterday and used 2/3 of my iPhone 4 battery. I'm riding a Mtn bike with skinny road tires and I'm just getting into shape so it took 2 hrs 35 mins just to give some idea of real world experience with battery life. That's with the display and gps both on the entire ride using Mapmyride.

  • Part 4 - The sensors pick up exceptionally well. The HR sensor even has internal memory so it will keep recording even if it loses contact with the base so that is very nice. I didn't see any glitchiness or missed communication on the 27 mile ride I took today. I watched it a lot and it seemed very smooth and consistent. I'm extremely happy with the whole setup. After researching a good bit I feel this is the best protective bike case on the market for the iPhone.

  • Part 3 - I would not however feel very safe with this on my mountain bike. While the case certainly seems rugged enough for it I have my doubts about the mount that holds it in place. Just looking at it I feel that it wouldn't take a lot of Mtn Bike abuse for something on it to give. I could be wrong but I won't personally be taking it on the trails to find out. If the phone did fall I still don't think it would take any damage as it is encased in a protective rubber enclosure inside the case.

  • Part 2 - The screen cover is very clear and I can see the phone just as well in bright sunlight as I could with no cover so it's just fine in that regard. The overall look and feel of the case is very good and the cover fits solidly in place. The controls on the phone are all easy to operate except for the volume. Unfortunately there is no way to use the volume buttons. I feel totally comfortable having this on my road bike. No fear at all that it will fall off or open.

  • I purchased the bike kit recently along with the HR strap and I've been riding with the setup now and I have to say it's a really nice case. I would like to alleviate the fears people have of this popping open and dropping their phone by saying there's just no way that's going to happen as long as you snap the top on properly. It has 6 clasps that click securely in place and there's no way any jolt is going to pop them all open. I feel very safe with my phone in this case.

  • What happened to the unit with the extra battery, is that still in development? Also it would be nice if you made a case without the ANT capabilities at a reduced price. I just want a good case to use on my bike and your's looks to be the best but it's a bit pricy and I don't want the wireless feature anyway. I just hate to spend money on the case and pay for a feature I'll never use. But I love the overall design.

  • …Also, how secure is the HRM, Cadence & Cyclometre interface connection?

Over the years, I've lost all interest in wireless cycling computers because communication between the transmitter and the receiver in more or less all of them tends to be disrupted regularly: all of a sudden your speed "soares above" 100 km/h or "drops" to 0, while in reality your steadily moving at 27 or so. Also, the refresh frequency rate of those is abominable. Objectively, is Wahoo / ANT+ any different? Thanks…

  • Hi, Is an HRM belt included with these - or is it a separate purchase? Thanks…

  • Like it but why the zip ties?

  • Your product looks like its a good solution, but at $119 retail, it SHOULD NOT rely on zip ties to secure the phone and mount to the bike.

  • i already broke my phone 3 times over all kinds of diff phone mounts from tigra and everyone else, im not going to do it hardcore but a good phone mount should have to hold a phone in place going 30 miles and hitting a pothole accidentally , im going to order this and not going to be ridiculous and take it up a mountain but on a roadbike and when im off the saddle or hit a pothole it better stay in place or your getting sued

  • @samstterhamstteer "you're", also check out our mountain bike crash video!

  • @samstterhamstteer Funny, that happened to my phone with the bicio. "Your" going to find it hard to find a lawyer who will take your case. I wouldn't. Besides, why would you spend thousands of dollars on a case for a product that costs a few hundred dollars? Don't use your phone that way if that is such a concern.

  • @samstterhamstteer hahahaha classic

  • This is fanatastic. Looks fab.

  • hey, this looks great....does anybody have any idea what this thing weights?

  • Man you guys have hit it out of the park! I was leery about the little fisca connector but this case is very cool with the adjustable bike mount. I am ordering mine if I don't win the one from DCRainMaker. Thanks for creating such a great product.

  • Looks awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Will the case be available in Australia when it's released in America?

  • @kaes2009 Orders from our website will be fulfilled from a warehouse in NSW. We are also working on a distribution strategy to get it into local stores.

  • Comment removed

  • It looks great and now we have to wait on the reports on whether it stays on the bike or drops the iPhone on bumpy roads.

By the way Ulitimate (or Ultimate) iPhone Bike Mount?

  • @ms2sneed Thanks for catching the TYPO. I assure you this product is not in the same league as the ones that drop your phone.

  • @wahoofitness I hope so, I look forward to reading about it later and also hope that more developers write new applications for iPhone that will work with both of your products.

  • @ms2sneed I've been on a number of very bumpy country back roads at this point and never had a single issue with the case or the mount. I'm totally confident that it's not going to drop my phone.

  • Will it come with the bike mount and how about the battery? How much will be the price

  • @electrobuzzzz The Bike Mount in the Video comes in the box. Price will vary by country, but with everything shown in the video including the ANT+ wireless radio approved by Apple's MFI program, the US retail will be $119. The custom spare battery should be available in April, retail is not yet determined. In the meantime 3rd party spare batteries with micro-usb plugs can be used.
