I had private insurance for over 10 years. When you apply you must be screened. The reason is simple and understandable: To keep costs down. If this "everybody can get insurance" works, the companies would have done this a long time ago. This is PRIVATE insurance, and they SHOULD have that right to accept or deny coverage-which means it's PRIVATE. Now that is taken away, and premiums are going to be half your paycheck. If not more. Mandatory. Under penalty of law you MUST pay it.
