  • Thanks !

  • Bravo - that the magnificient one can return to his real home occasionally is to be applauded. You are an absolute legend. Well Done.

  • Blessings to you for doing this....

  • I volunteer at the National Eagle Center and met you guys back in 2008. We were at your show yesterday and saw a version of this video. Made me think of Harriet our flightless Bald Eagle at the center and your male Bald Eagle. I was so happy to see your show again at SOAR. This video is awesome and so are you guys.

  • YOUR SO COOL, every time I come across this video I'm am personaly forced to watch it again!!! I don't cry like all these other sissy's. That's right, I choke back my tears. It is a great thing Dale and you do to make us lesser beings become a bit more aware of the world around us and how these fantastic creatures let us share it with them. Thank you for being.

  • is he/she going to be in a breeding program for the eagles? he/she may not be able to soar anymore but its chicks will have that gift.

  • No. He is too old now, and has been an educational ambassador all his life. Also, male eagles need two wings to mount a female inorder to keep balance during the mating process. Osceolo had his wing amputated at the shoulder at a very young age.

  • excelent, beautifull love.

  • beautifull, congratulations

  • This is awesome John!!! I'm sure Osceola felt great flying again...

  • this brought tears to my eyes that is so awesome

  • Osceola is totally calm. At home.

  • The love of animals is a sacred thing going way back, and this is an exceptional example of that. If it werenot for Rachael Carson writing Silent Spring we might not have many Birds of Prey (Hawks, Eagles, and Falcons) today. Both are exceptional examples of honoring the sacred. Ceremonial Feathers are made available for First Nations American Indians only. They were not originally hunted for their feathers, as they are considered sacred by North American Indians.

  • The Eagle spirit is the warriors spirit. Thank you for letting his spirit soar once more. this video made me cry.

Native Americans DO NOT HUNT EAGLES! That is illegal. When an eagle in a program or zoo dies or a carcass is found the Govt distributes the parts to Registered members of recognized tribes.

  • I just got back from seeing Osceola at Dollywood last week. Osceola is the star of the show and truly looks healthy and happy. Dollywood home of the American Eagle Foundation in Pigeon Forge, TN is a great place to learn what you can do to ensure a future in this world for these magnificent bird.

  • I loved this, that bird is not disabled,he can fly,in his heart he is soaring... god bless you for this

  • Truly inspired act of Love

  • fly high jon....... fly high!

  • Wow, I love this, I have watched it at least 20 times. My husband flew hanggliders for many years(macular degeneration in both eyes makes it impossible now) and he got tears in his eyes watching Osceola's obvious joy at flying again. We got a kick out of Osceola using his natural rudder(his tail) to help you make the corrections! So inspiring!!

  • GOD Bless you for giving this bird the freedom he has lost with having only one wing, you are amamzing all through the video he is looking around and s engaged in his suroundings, he is happy and you have done this for him, God Bless You Always

  • Just thank you. Keep going.
