Love it. I've been a fan of their music for years ! It's scary and beautifull ! I could sit on the roof top of my house under the night sky looking at the stars for hours on end while listening to Sigur Ros.

This was my least favorite song on the album upon my first listen. It felt so out of place, especially so for Sigur Ros. Now I love it the same as the rest.

Also, I recommend any song by My Bloody Valentine from Loveless if you like this. Partly because they sound similar and partly because Loveless is simply a great album.

...wow i actually didn't like this song, for me it does not really capture that essence that separates Sigur Ros from, in a word, other "normal" bands. Also "darkness" (title of song) isn't usually what i link Sigur Ros to, there music is more about innocence rather than darkness

Second of all, this song sounds NOTHING like it. She Sells Sanctuary is an 80's hard pop rock song. Myrkur is more soothing, experimental and (IMO)less accessible then the cult song. Don't get me wrong, its a great song but it only sound a tiny bit like this and even thats stretching it.

I watched the TopGear episode with the convertibles in Iceland and they used this song. Thanks for that, folks - I would've never ever stumbled over this band without you!

In my opinion a great song for driving my convertible. Sounds so light and you get into a kind of "flow". Don't know how else to describe it, it's a fantastic song!

Yes, I´m from Slovakia and when I was learning a bit of Íslenska-Icelandic language, there was certain similarity between slavic-icelandic. Or just my imagination? :))

Very interesting. I also love such facts. And reverse smileys too. Sigur Rós makes me calm down when I´m upset or sad, magic, wonderful, mindtouching music. Myrkur is too fast and short for me, but still amazing. 6 stars as usual!
