I'm familiar with most of those names, and almost all of them are quite different from artOfficial, they're pure rap, while these guys made a crossover from rap to funk in a natural, organic manner (as in, not sampled). Check out the other ones I named to see what I was referring to.

You're right, they're also jazz-influenced. They're jazz as much as they're funk. They said it themselves. The others are definitely worth it. Very under-appreciated and not given enough spotlight. Well yeah, the ones you mentioned aren't pure rap, but what I meant was they're mostly sampled + beats, not live. My bad choice of words, I apologize :)
